Nagel420 - Third Times A Charm!

You could spend a DAY in my town finding all the entries from Weird NJ. From Clinton Road, to the Stone Living Room, The Iron Tree is no more (assholes stole it for scrap $$). Cross Castle. Clinton Rd alone has a half dozen things to investigate on its own. Plus there’s the telephone pole toppers along Rt 23. Some strange stuff for sure…

I dunno, my local pizza place is pretty revered, but I will defer to Bobby & Timmy’s Pizza in Providence RI. Thin crust, mesquite wood fire grilled, top of the line cheeses, sauces crafted by them, thats the best IMHO.

But a NYC pretzel from a sidewalk vendor always beats a convenience store one. Maybe its the charcoal, maybe its the exhaust from the busses, but theres a taste to em LOL…

That would actually be really cool. I just don’t travel well anymore. I generally feel shitty enough that being confined in a car for over 20 minutes just kind of sucks.

I don’t think I’ve ever had pizza that was cooked with mesquite but now I’m curious!

As for soft pretzels Philly has entered the chat…

Anytime I went up I95, you get off at Atwells Ave (exit 21 I believe) in Providence, go about 3-4 blocks west till you see the square / plaza on your right. Just before that plaza is a road on the right, take that 1 block, make a right, Bobby and Timmys is half block down on the right.

We would detour an HOUR south on our way from Great Woods, MA, to Buffalo, NY (phish tour) to have it for lunch.

Right around the corner is Sicilia’s Pizza. Ok pizza, but Monterey Jack Cheesesticks instead of Mozzerella. Yum Yum Yum! Providence is a fun town for sure!

Pretzels in Philly are good as well… And Gino’s has my vote for Cheesesteaks… Just something about a street vendor pretzel though

Philly makes good cheesesteaks but I have to say the best cheesesteaks to come from the Italian restaurants in New Jersey I’ve tried Gino’s and I’ve tried PATs I’ve tried a bunch of them I still say jersey cheesesteaks are the best make by man

I would take a cheesesteak from our local Pats over Philly’s Pats any day of the week! Even though they’re getting skimpy with the meat these days it’s a better cheesesteak.

Late breakfast/lunch today. A nice PORK ROLL and cheese and some of the most perfectly cooked fries I’ve ever had.

Food is the key! Especially, when you are on tour. Grilled cheese only gets you so far, then its roadblock city :open_mouth:

I am hoping for a special delivery from Scialo’s in Providence TODAY!!!

I intend to annihilate the entire pie, and then move on to the calzones, then pass out visciously

Scialo’s cheeseless pizza for the win.

Ahh, so in / near Providence? Have you had Bobby & Timmy’s???

On tour we knew where to get food  Grilled cheese is a snack, the french bread pizza people in the white VW van always had the best FB pizza. Spent a lot of time in Providence during college with friends who lived off of Atwells Ave…

Certainly got to sample food from everywhere while on tour. Best smoked cheddar was from “The Little Brick Store” in VT, found it after leaving Coventry. That stuff was so good, I finished it before we got to the highway and went back for more!

Let’s just say, I stick to the NE corridor, could be anywhere from Cape May, to Cape Cod;)

I have not had a B & T, but it is now on the short list. I have been to the Classic Cafe’ for their awesome breakfasts tho, and that f’n food truck cant be beat in the middle of the night.

I give the RI/MA area alot of shit for their unbelievable ineptness, stupidity, and just downright hijinnx, but the food could be worse, that’s for sure. Been to Pennsylvania? Try and find a slice there, ya, no.

Pensyl-tucky? Try and get cell service there as well. ROFLMAO

I do know a great little burger joint by Lake Wallenpaupack… And the Apple Valley Inn, in Milford, PA has some good burgers too…

If you are running up / down 95, definitely try B&T sometime. Not even 5 mins off of I95…

MA? my ex is from MA, dont even get me started on that!!

Ok, long overdue on an update, so here goes…

The 3x3 tent. 6 Seedsman Blueberry clones in there, in 5g felt pots, flipped on 12/20. Its a jungle in there, and I really need to do some trimming down below for a change. Growth in there is ridiculous right now!

Some WW cuttings in the 2x2 planted 12/18

The 3x4 Tent, with two white widows in the back, a GDP in the middle, a cherry brandy that refused to flower on the front left, and a Purple Haze front right. Just put the net on them today.

Black Cream, A.C./BC and Creamy Blacklights testers being grown out. Back row in micro octopots, front row just felt pots.

A few more testers, plus Tycho Monolith front and center, spacewiz just behind it. All the small cuttings in the middle left will be in a later pic as well.

The Bonsai Moms (WW, GDP, GDP, Alaskan Purple) are in need of a haircut. That AP just wants to push thru the floorboards above!!

Some new babies, GDP and WW cuttings made in december. Some rooted in the bubble cloner, some in rockwool and the new dome. The WW on the right are 2 weeks older than the GDP on the left.

My very first round of Black Cream Crosses testers. The tall one on the left is the NL x BC cross, and retained moms christmas tree shape, and seems to be taking as long as mom did. Front Center is Black n Blue Jack, and behind are 5 Black Creams. All of the black creams here are stunted from a little fertilizer mix up in week 2 of flower. Saw the potassium burns the next day, flushed like mad, but the damage is done. The black creams on the other side of the room are a few weeks younger and twice the height easily…

Stubby lil black creams…

One little standout… The BC x BJH seedling was abused. I had it in a worm casting tray, it hadnt sprouted after 10 days and I moved it to the side and gave up on it. A week later I see like a 6-8" long sprout just seeking out the light. So I planted it. The tap root was damn near the bottom to begin with, buried most of the stem, left the cotyledons just above the soil. Well, that was on 12/13, here its is now…

And… Some bud porn… Just because…

That’s what she said!
Sorry, I had to… after @Slick1 gets done with this one, it’ll be worse. :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh… this must be why I was having trouble with that willow water in my cloner. Yours is a bubble cloner, mine is an aero. This morning I had to disassemble the damn thing, clean out the gunk from the willow water and put it back together again. :frowning: Organics and hydro don’t work, it seems.

@Papalag Its a seedsman “house” seed, from seedsman… Easy as hell to clone, that thing wanted to root in the rockwool like nothing I’ve grown other than maybe coleus…

Ahh… In that case, boil up some willow switches, let it cool, then use that water in the cloner. Could filter it with a coffee filter just to be sure. Should be less organics. Mist heads don’t like much of anything in them… I have lots of mist heads in the sandbeds out back

Oh I know, but I feel sorry for him at times and leave him some freebies. Ya know how hard it is for him to resist
