So the kingbrite hlg 550 is a total hit so far. Plants are praying like crazy underneath it. Really really impressed. 400 canadian at my house in 7 days. Bonus potential of wuflu inside as well. Removed another 1000w hid from my rotation.
Dare I say I like this one better than my actual HLG one? I think I do. I will be ordering again. But not until wuflu dies down first.
So my one BCG female who was frosty but lacked size has started to swell a little. I moved her from under tmac 600w hid to a hlg 550. Within a week she was swelling(well compared to her anorexic body shape before)
Baked and figuring out how good my camera phone is. Daughters soccer tournament starts tonight and runs non stop basically till monday afternoon. Taking a little dad time in dads cave
Nice, Poppa gets some free time! How’d you manage to score that, on Valentine’s of all days?!
Your plants are looking supreme! Your Orange Gojis are making me jealous. Good growing!
The Kingbrite kit looks legit enough with Meanwell driver and all. Send a link to the one you nabbed.
Can you tell what diodes they used on the boards? I’m guessing the LM301 type.
Looks like the heatsink is just that flat aluminum sheet, no fins. Will you be mounting a fan up there to cool off the boards? Do you keep your driver in the tent or external?
I keep the driver mounted on top. I use fans blowing directly on drivers for both. LM301H diodes plus red ones as well 660nm I think. No real link cause I view through my Alibaba app. Just search kingbrite quantum board. Mine is v3 there are v4 available as well. I am really satisfied. But it has been on less than 24 hours.
The wife got to sleep in and I got up with kids and made breakfast for her. We dont buy in to the whole corporate valentines day. She likes flowers but not when the cost is 10 times the regular.
I have never not been able to clone that way. Mind you I have only done it 3 times. Last 2 times with this JOTI strain black cali grapes. The ones in shot glasses rooted quicker and never went through that “I’m gonna die wilting phase”. Stayed the same from the moment they were clipped to the moment the went in soil.
I’d bet it has more to do with the strain then my actions.
Damn, that’s awesome you can get roots in a shot glass like that. I’m not sure if it’s my water, but I can’t do it that way either. I have to do plugs into small coco pots, in a humidity dome. And I need to use a squirt of peroxide in the bottom of the dome every couple days.
