Three weeks flower

Hey @HaRdRoC so everything is getting back in order and just had a quick question for you man. So the right one is budding nicely and there’s the top cola and from there down there are nice little nuggets then at the very bottom theres these raisen sized buds starting to form. Now I have added my veg light to the tent which is turned sideways to allow light to the lower/side branches. So my question is should I pick off the raisenette buds to allow the tops and lower buds to grow more or leave them?!? Thanks

That’s really all up to you man. If you’re making butter or hash or reveging, I’d leave them.
If you’re not, then trim up 1/3 of the useless stuff.
Check on youtube for lollipoping.

Wait…how long have you been in flower?

No butter, hash or etc. just personal smoke. Going on 4 weeks flower now.

Well really like 3 weeks 3 days to be exact lol. So i just read about it and it seems like its best to do right before switching to 12/12. Also it states that it’s best to do it because the lower sites aren’t receiving enough light for them to grow. However since adding the sideways light the lower portion is receiving just as much as the tops. Just was interested in your opinion, as you have been very helpful resource and source of knowledge throughout my grow. For that I thank you. BudT

Hey no prob, glad I could help you out some.
Yea, I mean if you’re getting light to them from side lighting, let 'em grow bro

Quick update on my smaller female on day 5 of flower. I just lollipoped her and also did some heavy lst for canopy dispersion. She seems to be liking the new led and tent all to herself!

I would either tuck those shade leafs away from the middle of the plant, to give it lots of light, if you can’t tuck 'em, clip 'em. Only what you need to though

Yeah I clipped those leaves after I took the photo. It did take a min to get everything adjusted right but feel like she came out alright.

Plant looks great man. You’re gonna be happy when that pot is just full of bud

Much appreciated man I figured I’d take the time with this one. So after you lst, if you have a single or even a few branches that grow up quicker than others, do you re-tie those down again?!

Yes but you usually lst in veg so they are already the same height going into flower. Right now, just leave as is

Yeah Iam only tying them down once as I am a little late to the party, although she’s only showing preflowers atm. I was just curious for future plans. Anyways cheers.

I like to top on top of the 4th node then bend over.
Wait for the tops to catch up, spread those every which way to fill up the pot. Top again, spread out again and keep doing that till I feel I have enough tops. Then a week after last topping, clean up the bottom and throw into flower. Then depending on stretch of th plant, keep tying down where necessary to keep canopy even.
If you use string, becarful, because as the plant grows, and you don’t readjust the ties, they can and will cut into the plant, and that could cause problems.

You weren’t kidding when you said she would like being spread out. Just peaked in to see how she was for the night.
