So with my two further along females I have directly over each of them 105 actual watt cfl spirals, so 210w on top. Then for the side Iam using an intense Daylight brand light which mimics natural sunlight. Same sort of bulbs that go into an aero garden. It has 3-36 watt u shaped bulbs. So 210w on top and 108w on the sides equaling 318 actual watts in the tent, 159w per plant. Two oscillating fans near the top of tent to circulate and move hot air, an 8 inch inline fan and one exhaust fan.

Thanks man those spirals are 10 inches long, so Iam divising a metal hood with a layer of mylar underneath that goes across the length of the bulbs to allow that much more useable light for the last half of flowering.

Before you know it, you’ll be smoking your “homegrown” it’s very satisfying smoking your own grown herb. Just try not to take it early, and let it dry properly. Takes longer but well worth it.

Great advice, I will def be waiting till properly dried/cured. I moved a while back, so with that and knowing I’d be doing this, I havent smoked in roughly 3-4 months. Like you said waiting till the right moment will make it more satisfying.

Day 9 and lots of new formations have started, trimmed lower foilage and bud spots beneath canopy, not too much, just enough. Really wish I had a way of netting her(scrog) to even everything out more. Gave her first ph watering since transplant today.

You can get these at the dollar store or Walmart, to keep everything even.
Go to the bottom of my thread and check out the vid, I use a net.

I actually use 2 nets, one with 4" holes to train the plants, and then the 2nd one that is 6" holes when the stretch starts for support.
Hey gotta question if you dont mind, this scope I bought really sucks, its is very difficult to hold steady and see anything clear. Any recommendations? Was thinking about just going with a jeweler’s loupe but if theres a good one for reasonable cost Iam game. Thanks
You can get a magnifying app, that might work.
I bought my scope at a hydro shop a long time ago.
A jewlers loupe should work though. Anything around 50x I believe…
Anyway to rest your arms on the table to use it? That will help shaking.
Day 45 on my small personal grow and the buds are starting to pack on some weight and hopefully more over the next few weeks. Things are also starting to smell wonderful. The buds have a sharp pine-sol smell. Almost like a mixture of cocaine and pine-sol, like taking a whiff causes your nostrils to flare uncontrollably.
