Ive been reading on UVC as pest management and found a couple of your posts last year on buying a bulb.
how did it work for you? did you have bug issues that are no longer occurring or was it only PM etc?

@FieldEffect thanks for your post and for sharing your experiences. I’d probably give twenty20 another shot if I’m being honest bc I do agree with you on the vigour factor. My plant was a beast also and grew pretty quickly. Not the fastest in my garden but up there and it did finish around the time the breeder predicted. Getting the rubber thing but also halitosis terps! Straight up bad breath… I’m kind of grossed out but weirdly excited to sample. She’s at 14 days hang today but I just finished trimming the Star Pupil and I’m spent…
Anyway, thanks again for the input on the bags. I think I’m sold here fellas. Im going to have to cave and give these bags a shot.
It was PM actually and since incorporating the light in between harvests and cleaning before and after each run I haven’t ever seen it return. I also run a bit more humid and not as dry as before and really think that has something to do with it also. I’m at like 60% in flower for my space and it seems to work perfectly.
I’m convinced the light is great for cleaning, killing germs and stray pollen but it could just be in my head lol
honesty, humility and restraint certainly are good qualities in a human.

Just wanted to throw in a quick update. I still need to write in some smoke reports here. Fell behind on this thread.
I ended up washing a good chunk of this crop. Got some good yields and some disappointing ones too.
The Afghan Lemon was a major disappointment. It was the only one I was saving for fresh frozen. I froze the entire plant after harvest. I washed it all in two runs. It literally yielded a little over 2 grams of bubble hash.
Here it is on the scale in a rosin bag, almost ready for the squish.
Here’s what I got from it! A few dabs 
(1/4 teaspoon for scale)
Very dark rosin as well… was not expecting that. Smells incredible tho, I have yet to test it out. Either way, I’m chalking this one up to a learning experience. I’m not sure I’ll try washing a fresh plant again unless I’m absolutely sure it’s a dumper. I think there is something to be said about letting your plant hang and dry for a few days before putting it in the freezer. I’m definitely going to test this out in the future. Not like a full 10-14 day dry but maybe a 3-7 day, somewhere in there.
This was my first time washing so there could be a lot of factors but when I washed my other plants that were dry the yield difference was substantial. This is just the first wash on one of the runs.
Anyway, just thought I’d check in. It’ll be spring before you know it and I’ll probably have a new thread up for 2023 outdoor! I think I’ll be dialing it way back this summer. A lot of my plants were extremely seeded. Hopefully that won’t be the case for this season. I’m also thinking I’ll place my photoperiods outside on July 1st instead of June 1st. This should keep them at a manageable size. Harvest and trim was just WAY too much work for this grow.

First of all:
After receiving a few of these bags from my secret Santa (ah choo! @Pigeonman … oh excuse me) I have to say. I am converted. I must apologize to you and bow down in forgiveness. These things are pretty neat. I put some herb in the ones I got and after a week I opened up the bag and was BLASTED in the face with terps!!! I made a large order and transferred my entire harvest into grove bags and heat sealed a few larger ones. The real test will be when I pop those bags open again in a few months. Anyway… ya grove bags are legit.
Sorry for the side ramble there for the 3 people who will read this lol anyway the other thing I wanted to check in on was a smoke report on the Snow G strain.
The buds smell like straight up grampa’s breath! But like, in a good way. There’s some fuel in there and then something a little sweet that just kind of keeps you coming back for more.
Now I know that I fully took a huge dump on this plant because I found some PM on the leaves near harvest. That was a bit of a disappointment but after smoking these buds, I have to say that I would definitely grow this strain again!
I smoked this stuff and was really high. Like, this stuff is strong. It was a bit intense at first but slowly fades into nice euphoria. I thought maybe it was just a one off or something until I took a king size joint to a little get together with some friends. I shared this joint with 3 other people who I would consider veteran level smokers. Like, smoke WAYYY more than me. Multiple joint a day kind of smokers. We were all walking back to the party in trance and my one buddy just goes “wow man… I got a pretty nice buzz going on right now. Shit!” Lol we all agreed and I had to take a damn knee for about 10 minutes when we got back to the party to gather my thoughts lol.
Anyway, ya it’s damn nice smoke. Flavour comes through in the joint for sure too. Great for pain, relaxation kind of stuff. The kind of weed where you just wanna smoke and forget the world exists for a little bit lol.
