Thanks to everyone who came for the Piff S2 seed drop last night! And sorry that there weren’t enough available for the people who always see my site sold out!! But don’t worry, it’s gonna be a merry piffmas for sure. I have my Harlem dreams (sc blue dream x Cuban black haze) female being reversed now in a big room on every piffy cut known to man. There will be seeds for days!!!
Harlem dreams is an amazing plant. Yield of blue Dream with a modern bag appeal and all of the terps and kick of the piff. One of my best creations yet!! Very excited to see what it does smashed back to all of the hazes. A little list of what’s in the room to get pollinated.

Can you provide some details in the nuances between the Piff and the CBH you have? Also, what’s the cut of Blue Dream you’re using in the Harlem Dreams? I’m going to get lucky one day and snatch some of these

i’m from ny surrounding area and remember getting “piff” back in the day circa early 2000’s but thought “piff” was just slang for good bud. i would come across bud back then that i have never seen since including the stringy haze strain that smelled like cat piss and had long brown hairs in it that seemed to hold the bud together.
If anyone knows what i’m talkin about let me know what strain seeds i need to buy! Some of these great strains are dying it seems like, cause they don’t yield enough or arn’t easy enough to grow to make it worth while for bigger growers to bother with since they just want yield. All i see now are all these different strains with silly names like wedding cake and girl scout cookies. bring back the sour D and haze of the 90’s and 2000’s! anyone can cross breed two plants and call it a new strain but i just want the old stuff.

Speaking to my heart here. From discussing with folks on here, there’s a few options to hit what we used to get back then in the tristate. PFC should elaborate, but the Cuban Black Haze was what I understand to be the backbone of the “Piff” that was floating around NYC heavily 20 years ago or so. The man himself can opine on the subtleties of his lines in relation to that old school fire.
Top Dawg also has some lines that resemble the haze we remember. @Derpterps is running some now and I can’t wait to hear his report.
Doc D’s Bandaid Haze also has a pheno or two that possesses characteristics that we remember and desire.
So, I’d say we have some options and it appears breeders like PFC are dedicated to expanding and improving these lines to closely match that old stuff that people like us have been looking for. Those were the days, weren’t they?

All of the clones I have are different ones I’ve acquired from different crews along my journey. Like I’ve stated before I believe cbh to be the original and the rest after were either breedings or bagseeds. If you want to know about any of them specifically let me know!

i see people on other forums talking about the “cat piss” pheno. Is there any way for a consumer to get these seeds or is this strain just kept alive by OG growers?

Do you offer clones or cuts as well at some location? Id really like to try the the Harlem Dreams, sounds like a instant winner. Im a small personal grower and really dont have time or room for pheno hunts. Like a lot of folks.

Catpiss is a frequent smell in the haze lines. I’ve seen people complaining Jack Herer and SSH smell like catpiss. Didn’t see it much in Bandaid Haze, but seems common in the C5 Haze derivatives.
My Mango Nigerian Cough plants were/are very catpissy. Probably the dominant scent…sounds gross but it’s in a good way. Several of the Super Silver Cough plants including my favorite one had a very catpissy dimension to it.
There’s also a few older cuttings called catpiss circulating. “Norcal”, “Socal”, and “Pittsburgh”.

I did some looking into catpiss that led me to 707 seeds and I grabbed a pack of their line. I also know there’s a tiger piss strain going around in clone and seed form that some breeders have been working with recently. I think piffcoast is one of them.

Supposedly A5 Haze has a good catpiss pheno too.
James Loud has a couple youtube podcasts about catpiss, one of them gets pretty heated. IMO there is no true catpiss strain it’s just an expression that can come out from many strains, a lot of hazes like someone posted above.
I’m a little too young to really know though, I only got catpiss smelling weed a handful of times when I was younger, before those strains kind of phased out, always heard stories about it though.

When people refer to old catpiss piff haze they are mostly referring to an ammonia litter box type really sharp smell, IME it can be found in a lot of the A and nevilles haze lines. The C haze progeny has that citrus sharpie jack smell. A few years ago I was on the hunt and ran the NorCal catpiss (cut that 707 used for their seedline) and also the SoCal catpiss. Both were fire but different and neither were like the catpiss haze. The NorCal was more like human piss in a car seat on a hot day and the SoCal seemed to be some type of OG hybrid. The tigerpiss is a mr nice Afghan haze f2 selection that smells more like male cat spray
