I did the same thing the first time I filled em.. As @Papalag mentioned firm. The sleeve needs to stand up pretty

Next pack I’ll reduce pressure by 60%.

I packed this so hard you could use it as a punching bag.

I posted these in my grow thread but figured they wouldn’t be out of place here. This series of pics documents an Orange Goji plant over 10 days of growth, just as the roots make their way to the reservoir and drink for the first time.

11 days since transplanting to the Octopot:

That’s an impressive rate of growth. Nice job documenting it.

I’ll have to take another pic tonight. The growth still hasn’t slowed - even after I topped the Orange Goji over the weekend.

I fine timing is everything with 5 different strains
When one tent is finishing up and others either need to switch to bloom or up potted

I gave up trying to judge how quickly or slowly things grow

Each tent is now capable to run everything from start to finish it things don’t cooperate :crazy_face:and they never do

Timing on when to fill the Octopots or not ( I’ve had to switch them from one tent to another at times ( they get heavy )

Oh here’s something I do with compost teas( when using molasses) : wait till tank is empty only fill res with 1 or 2 gallons ( always observe how much they drink in a day ) let empty then continue your regular feeding schedule . Here’s why molasses and high sugar content without adding an air line into the res it will turn to Alcohol so if you use teas be careful

I gotta say, so far, love this Octopot. Fantastic growth, on par with hydro speed.

My long term plan, and you know how plans go, is to run 1 veg tent and 2 flower tents. All 5x5 with 6 Octo’s. Veg for 35 days then flip. In your experience, see any problems with this?

Hell No go for it just watch your hight as to when to flip

And vent well when you think you have enough air cycling add more
