she was thirsty
So…give me some advice for running 6 in a 5x5. Thinking of making my own grids, like you showed in a post. But cutting it on the top portion, making it wider. I know this Mother’s Milk will need support.
I’m watering coco in 3 gallon fabrics once a day now. Same size pots with soil maybe 3 days.
You may need a second support net I use I string trestle for that one
Dang. I was just checking the Octo site and noticed a 48 hour sale on single units.
https://www.octopot.com/store/p112/6GallonHybridGrowSystem.html
That’s a steel damn I paid 53 for mine and I thought it was a good deal
i paid 400+ for 4 strapped 6 gal and 4 strapped 3 gal
Soon, maybe, if were lucky, OG will get a discount code (wishful thinking)!
@OctoKaley what say you
kinda sad to see she joined for 3 days and bounced.
even got new user of the month >.<
wonder if joe ever followed up with that?
So, what is the difference between standard, cupped, and strapped sleeves?
no clue, the strapped has 2 straps at the bottom to hold the net pot… and it cost more
i assume the cupped is exactly that, instead of straps its sewn down to a “cup” for the net pot to stick though.
Very interested in the out come !
Ill be using coco in mine when they arrive. They shipped today.
I did a looser pack this go round, I only compacted the center. Everything on the side is loose.
Maybe this will prevent the fungal outbreak from last run.
(which i damn near jumped on the bag to pack it down)
what size tent is that? I due to do the same in a few weeks. If I can ask, how many bags of coco did it take to fill them?
Best of luck with your run.
4x4 Gorilla
&
2 x 2.5 Gorilla Shorty
3 bricks for 4 bags.
Order 2 of these, you’ll have 1 brick left over.

thank you for that.looks like my 3x3 will only take, 3. HA! I measured my closet, I should be able to fit the other octo in there. love it when it works out.
3x3 will take 4, tightly packed. You may need to place a peice of plywood down to elevate the octopots off the bottom of the tent so it can clear the poles.
At least thats what I had to do with the smaller tent.
i get you. I dont have the need to cram them. other space would work like magic anyway. the plan will work…maybe. lol
I mean you could do 3, and put a rez in there for autofill.
Well after reading this whole thread in 1 sitting & seeing all your replys @Syn , looks like I have to go check the octapot websight out.
You guys in this thread make it look good " & easy "
