sry ~ i was baked before when I typed the question, I meant reg seeds, not photoperiod ~ post was edited.

Do you wait until sex is shown in 1/2 gallon or solo cup and then transfer to octos? Trying to figure out best strategy for avoiding waste of resources.

Anyone had a code for FREE SHIPPING, that is what kills it for most people. Shipping is like over half the cost of the 2 OCTOPOTS
74.99 for two 6 gallon octopots
52.00 shipping

Want to thank everyone again for the help along the way to making some key decisions, and share some feedback with y’all, and for any other “Octopot researchers” that stumble across this.
Not sure if it’s witch craft, sorcery, or you just call it octomagic but these f’in things are insane! I’m genuinely impressed with the growth.

I decided to plant rooted cuttings into these 3 octopots, all from the same mother (Blueberrygum by g13 labs).
They were planted in the octopot on May 3rd. Jacks 3-2-1 ~1/2 strength.

This is today May 23rd. They were topped May 10th,

This is a comparison of the stem size of the mother plant in promix not in an Octopot. Clone in an Octopot first. Mind you the mother is about 10 weeks older.

Hello Gentlemen,
I have a question Has Anyone used the Octopots to grow outside , i just received my set of Two 6 gallon pots , and it looks like the only thing holding them down will be the weight of the planter witch rest on top of the plastic on the bottom of the reservoir. It almost seems that if it gets top heavy it will blow over with some wind…

Thanks

Do some more searching, pretty sure @Jetdro has ran them outdoors and most likely some others have too. Depending on your location and conditions they may need something for added stability. I don’t recall if they were shielded from rain flooding the bags/top watering but Jet or others may chime in with better info.
