I would still pop at least 8 or so. Your only growing for smoke i assume. And you will be culling the boys.
Or you can go all badass and pop like 20 and keep 4.

I can grow autos on pheno schedule, but If they get so massive, I fell I should only grow one or the other for light placememt?
During flower on regulars you wont be able to fit more than 4. They get gig.

For now, unless I got something so good, I need to harvest and pass around pollen. But up to now, just for smoke.

This is what I needed. These autos all finish after thanksgiving. Then I take a small trip while they cure, and then I want to run some of these phenos. I have no doubt you guys will help me through it.
Autos are actually less forgiving due to not being able to veg them out and let them recover from issues so I am sure you will be great with photoās. I use a 4x4 tent and 4 plants seem perfect for that space. I was actually over crowded on my last bud run.

I enjoy running photos much better because if i fuck up, which i often do, i haveenuff time to make my repairs.

This is crazy, I grew regs, all were male so I went auto just to grow a stash. I found these guys forgiving because I wasnāt sure I knew what I was doing. I have a bit more confidence. I mean, my male regs looked amazing, I just donāt have āa guyā and Iām growing my own.

Shit. Stick around. If you can run autos you already know how to grow. And if you run into problems you have a great support team.
I know shit happens but i always pop 2 or 3 from each pack. Grow them until teenagers. When they start showing pubes, i get rid of the boys and grow the rest. Normally a 50-50 mix of boys and girls. So you will be getting rid of about half. Give or take.
Do that. If you get a lot of males. Keep what girls you have, get rid of the boys and fill in you space with autos.

I am 6:6 male regs. 1/7 died from no power for 2 weeks. Autos seemed easy.
I dont want to toss a good male. I donāt have another spot, but I have my old light. I can make a room I think, to collect pollen with help on correct tactics.
Im just opposite of you. I run photos great. I have not had what i would consider a great harvest from autos. Only tried twice. But the first one i dont know whst was up with her. She was all bud from the very frist. I never had to trim her and only got maybe 3/4 oz off her. I am growing three Lemon Pie Auto and think i already screwed them up with shitty lighting.
