I think that those three strains bred together will be a good, strong combination.
There’s a strain called Mad Scientist, made by a breeder named Sannie, that is a nice cross of White Widow x Herijuana. It’s definitely a potent cross that will settle folks down quickly.
Adding Sensi Star to the mix can’t be a bad thing and will only add to its overall potency and strength.
Your new cross could definitely be a very strong one! Pheno hunting will be a lot of fun on this one.
Thanks! Im SUPER excited, but MOSTLY cuz other members have shown interest! This is my opportunity to GIVE BACK to a community that has given me ALL of the genetics that I have, including the strains involved here! And the fact that peeps have said they thought there.might be something here, when REALLY it was totally random from my perspective, THAT puts the icing on the cake, so to speak!!
Here’s an update on the flower tent. For a recap, the flower tent consists of a 4 x 4 x 6 foot tent, with an 8 inch intake booster fan and a Cloudline 8inch extraction fan. I have 2 lamps lighting the tent, a Solstrip X with 5 of the X2 strips powered by a Meanwell driver, the HLG-185 model…shout out to @Baudelaire for having an AWESOME company making AWESOME lights! I have NOT been compensated for that statement! I wish, but alas, his lamps speak for themselves! I also have a Bridgelux DIY build and that shout out goes to our one and only GROW NERD, @Mr.Sparkle. He had the thread that enlightened MANY of us to build these lamps with Bridgelux strips. I used 10 of the Gen 2, 2 foot strips with an XLG-150 Meanwell driver at the helm.
Ok, my simple flower tent is thus…
Here’s what the plants inside her are looking right now!
Above is @Mongobongo 's stock, either ROCKY MOUNTAIN HIGH or OREGON HUCKLEBERRY, without the PAC this time…dont know which, but WHEW BOY! Its a NICE fetching plant!!
Life in the land of CRAZINESS has puttered along for me. Thank Goodness for my daughter and my plants as they bring me joy and curiosity and frustration and play and wonder! THAT keeps me churning! Thanks for sharing the ride with me, folks! I hope ALL of your lives are CHURNING along for you, in just the way you want them to!
Hey folks, I’ve got a question… do any of you have any recommendations for a loupe, or any other GOOD way to ’ scope triches? I have a hand held magnifying glass with a few different magnifications but it SUCKS to see stuff accurately…any help is MUCH appreciated!
Another member suggested this one that I just ordered…off of Amazon its the Carson Microbrite Plus 60x - 120x LED Lighted Pocket Microscope . It cost $15 shipped…Ill report what I think after Ive used it…
So football started today, for some of our teams, for any of us that are fans! GO NINERS!! Hehe! I was JUST thinking that SH*T! WE GOT TOM BRADY IN OUR CONFERENCE NOW! hehe!
Hope everyone who likes the sport had their team win, or they will win! My team is up 10 to 7 to Arizona!
Alright, did some watering in the HIGH MAINTENANCE 1 gallon pots I got my babies in, and just got some incredible growth and vigor in ALL the plants. Even the runts at first are doing great now. No nutrients given except Kelp Meal, top dressed the last watering for all of them. There are a couple plants starting to have a slight yellow hue to the leaves and so I think Im gonna add some BIO LIVE to those few to boost Nitrogen and give some microbe boosting. This is all trial and error for me as Im STILL fumbling around with my feeding regimens. I have found that every time I give my plants liquid nutes, they burn or lock out or what have you, and so Im gonna try and NOT give that form of food but try alternative methods. If it works, GREAT, if not, then Ill try something else and hope it doesn’t also end in error!
And from breeder extraordinaire, @Howard.Crane, we have some F2 Orange Goji’s and Im sure any of you who have seen or grown these out yourself, knows, these are some REALLY nice genetics…
And how about a group shot to close up the post? See how big they’re getting? I already moved 3 of the bigger and likely male plants to the closet under a blurple light…
I’m no breeder, I’m a pollen chucker at best. I just like to try to preserve the genetics that impress me most, in some form or another. And if I get the chance to combine a great mother with a great father, I’ll almost always take it
And even if I wasn’t growing my own, I’d be here in the forums watching everyone else do it, because there are some got dang ol’ beautiful plants y’all are growing.
I keep hearing about this orange goji and how good it is! Looks like I missed out lol. Then again I’ve already been gifted a bit of a collection/starter set with enough strains to keep me busy for over a year, I can barely decide which ones to start first or how many at a time lol.
