Thanks man, I love to experiment. whether its grow tech, grow room design, light specs, training techniques. But what i love the most is fabrication and engineering of grow equipment. Ill walk the grow gen in tulsa and find ideas on things i want to build. .I then go to lowes or home depot and save my ass alot of money.

I know I was just starting to have some good banter with dequilo on his thread then his recent move to the other site happened. I’m hoping he’ll be back thou! All the awesome people on this site make me want to breed to give back. For now I’ll just finish getting a few notches on the belt first, build some friendships and knowledge!

This one’s blooming a bit slow. Way behind the others. Its about 5ft tall, and white hairs everywhere but no buds. I’ve flushed out my hempys, reduced its nitro, added more red spec. So strange. Suggestions ?

Stalks are nice and thick, the camera doesn’t do them justice. The roots are insane, trying to push out of the res hole in my hempys. I have to very gently tuck them back in. You can see the reaction from the plant when I tuck them quickly vs slow. If I tuck quick some fans will turn nearly upside down immediately. If I push it slowly, no reaction. If anyone has suggestions on the slow bloomer

More tomorrow.

Editors note. The plants are 5ft tall and have all been super cropped major. These will likely end up 6ft by the end of stretch.

Few shots from today. They’re chugging along nicely. The banana mac I believe has stopped stretching now that week 3 is finishing up. 6ft call currently and they got some heavy super cropping in on em to keep em that short. Buds look like they’re gonna be king Kong kolas

update, gave the ladies their last dose of beneficial bacteria, stopped the recharge 3 days ago. Will be cutting back the liquid karma from 8mil a gal to 4 mil a gal. will def be flowering these ladies a little longer than I expected. With all this kelp, seaweed and natural boosters it kept them stretching. The last 2 weeks of flower I will be switching back to 18 / 6 to bulk them. So far im impressed with the botanicare and the extra wattage… Way ahead of where i was at week 4 flower last run. Way ahead. Taller, thicker plants, way more bud site even thought i really didn’t train these much other than a monster crop and some super cropping here and there. Not my typical manicured and structurally planned with heavy training and a trellis… I ran the hempys this go and the trellis was just too bulky for the room and got annoying… So i said f it, be gone… I have started tying off some branching to the buckets and added way more stakes for support. Those banana macs are freaking 6ft tall now. Not wirey at all, they are thick from stalk to tip, ridiculously thick. impressive bud sizing already! Anyone do training on into flower? Any suggestions?

ill be moving my tall banana macs under the 500w cmh , that lamp has more room to be raised, and ill leave the shorter plants under the 315s. they wiill stay low, and also hit the middle section of the tall plants that are being covered by the 500w. the camera really doesnt show how frosty these bitches are… I love me some botanicare… I added a couple handfuls of earthworm castings… The roots organic soilless i used in the hempys has bat guano and some organic stuff… This should give it a nice boost early flower… They will be getting a massive load of carbs and moab at the end of week 6.
