May want to wait a month or so.
Eh, no problem this past week. Just have to get to them before they’re left out and pack them with some insulation.
It sounds like you are getting experience then.
Yea, these were just wrapped with a bit of packing foam
Like this stuff
They were cold, but protected enough. I’m sending stuff out the same way, but wrapped in enough of it to fill the box more.
Rooted or cuts?
Those trucks are cold. I can’t see much difference between sitting on your step.
Both! Two rooted one cut.
When there’s bad weather your more likely to have one sit at a dock, loaded already being held to go to next place till weathers gone also. with that foam thou I feel like I’d be more worried about it sitting in the truck In extreme hot rather than extreme cold.?.? Might be wrong thou seeing how I have never dealt with cloning quite yet. One of these days thou.
Balochistan Shidi Bhang Selection #4 “Impending Doom” from Irrizinig here at 52 days of flowering. Earthy smells, with a slight grape like sweetness in there. This is the only good looker out of 2 packs. The others were mostly fugly and even a super extreme herm, like I’ve never seen before. This one is a tank though and I bet it would grow great outside here in OK.
grown in a 4" tall clone pot.
OG Jack is Tahoe OG Kush x Sannie’s Jack (Herer). The #2 here is more Jack dom and not much OG to it. The #11 is a nice combo of 50/50 OG/Jack. Both hit hard.
Why would they even call it NL#8 when it’s not the real #8? Lol
We tried our best to make everything as clear as possible on the website and the menu. On the menu, it is listed as:
Northern Light5 f2’s #8. (Northern Light5 is a shortened name for the Bodhi '89 Noof NL5 x BCSC NL5).
We also have a #12, and a #31.
@mantismedgrower I am on the waiting list for the Oilspill. Hoping it doesn’t take too long. I will give you an honest review here. I stopped in today, but instead of commenting now, I will just wait and give my whole experience.
Hopefully I can add something valuable here at that time as opposed to a bunch of he said, she said, and fake reviews.
That’s great bud. Just checked for you and you’re the next one up on the Oil Spill. So hopefully your patience doesn’t determine the review. A real review entails growing and trying the product imo.
TBH, we give ZERO shits about reviews because we know what we do is pure greatness for the community. There are plenty of people that don’t like us for whatever reason, and that’s totally cool. We don’t like drama and like to do our own thing. If someone doesn’t respect what we bring to the cannabis community here, then I suggest they go somewhere else. Other people might need the business. We’re slammed busy.
I am going to share what I have so far. Keep in mind that this is coming from someone who is not new to a medical market. I have been growing in California and Colorado from 2000-2019. I am not a new grower by any means.
My patience never got a chance to be a determining factor. I got a text that my clone was ready to pick up 2 days after going on the list. So all good there.
I am not going to share any details about my experience in the storefront, as I am here for genetics not bud or any sort of “experience”. However, I would recommend you let the girls up front know that they probably shouldn’t be telling customers how new something is and that they cant wait to see what customers think because they haven’t got to see what it produces yet. That sort of puts off the message that you are selling unproven cuts. Very nice women though. No issues there.
As for the cutting, it was what I would consider small.
This isn’t a problem for me, as their website clearly states " Small clones that yield HUGE!"
The clone is also pretty woody. Appears to be cut from moms that are kept small due to space constraints or what not.
This is not a problem for me, seeing as I purchased strictly for a mother to cut off of, once she passes the test and is labeled a keeper if she is indeed a keeper.
We have some time ahead of us for that conclusion.
However, if I were buying for a commercial operation, or even a small production op, I would expect larger, lusher, greener cuts. I am not, so that is irrelevant.
As for pests, I scoped her intensively and see no signs of any pests and no signs of previous pest damage.
I have seen a few fungus gnats, but that is to be expected. The container the clone is in was watered pretty heavy. Again not a concern as this plant is currently in quarantine, got sprayed and drenched with Doctor Zymes.
I will mom her up and take cuts for a run soon and give an update on the quality of the plant and the selection.
The final product will be the seal of approval on my end. Luckily I have a good amount of experience growing and smoking this variety, so I have a baseline to judge from.
A few of their cuts drew me in, that I would like to add, so I started with this one to sort of verify authenticity.
I know @mantismedgrower said they could give a shit less about reviews, but I think a constructive and honest review will help everyone here, as well as OCC.
So far so good. I will start a new journal when the time comes to run her.
Doc
Thanks for all the effort you’re putting into the review. Pretty sure you’ll be happy with the plant, as I’ve grown every one.
As for the “girl up front,” she’s a college age young lady who has zero experience growing. In fact, she’s flowering out her first plants ever right now. The “girls up front” are what we call Wellness Consultants, a fancy word for budtender. An entry level position.
The only person who grows every plant and does the selections is me. So it’s unfair to judge our employees on something they don’t know. We try to post as much info as possible in the Menu and are constantly updating it. This was my first run of Mandelbrot gear, but I’m positive in it’s authenticity, as I got them from a well known and respected breeder.
With your experience I’m sure you’ll do fine with the grow. Good luck and looking forward to seeing your progress. Once you have flower, hit us up and you can come by for a show and tell on an off day.
I meant no disrespect by using the words “girls up front”. It seems you may have taken it that way. That’s just the way I talk. I also didn’t judge anyone. I made a suggestion based on what I experienced. I wouldn’t do any of this if I didn’t want to see you guys succeed. I think having a menu like yours available to the patients here is a great thing for everyone.
I offered up some constructive criticism, and nothing more.
I am rooting for you guys. Hopefully the cut makes the cut. (Pun Intended)
