The oil spill was in a room that somehow ended up with russet mites. She was the only plant that wasn’t affected. She was put outside on August 11th to finish.
She has a really funky orange terp that is shining through whatever else is there. I hope that orange smell doesn’t stick around and I sure hope it doesn’t have that Tangie taste. I cant stand orange terps. Lol
Not much resin production to speak of yet either. Hopefully that changes in the coming weeks.
Only time will tell.
Ouch! Well glad that one made it. I personally haven’t noticed any orange terps with the oil spill. It most likely will be a little different outside vs indoor.
For what it’s worth, I have a Royal Kush from Mandelbrot going too and that plant has this same orange / tangerine terp. Just nowhere near as pronounced.
I will keep you posted on which direction they go these last couple of weeks.
The Oil Spill is starting to fade. She will undoubtedly finish. She has also frosted up nicely over the last week.
The aroma she is putting off has changed from “orange / tangie” aroma, and is now a sort of soapy citrus. As @mantismedgrower stated, the smells can change a lot. I am curious to see what terps she displays after a slow dry and cure.
