Thank you @Calyxander zinnias are one of my most favorite flowers as well. Speaking of cannabis flowers, I started my free seeds purple moby dick ( thank you @Vesti ), 2 came out strong, the third got eaten by something and the fourth I dug up after 72 hours no action. Found the seed had damage and did not start.
Today PMD #2 saw it own shadow… in the shape of the G13xRomulan bird of peace.
PMD #2 is the next generation bonsai
PMD #1 is going to be transferred to moon base station Irie1 for experimental examination of exposure to “plant viagra”. Will the purple moby dick be harder and larger than usual?
Awesome! I’m sure they’ll be great - and yea, the name kind of lends itself to a bit of humor (I’ve thought it would be funny to backcross it to a Jack Herer just to come up with an “inappropriate” name…).
It’s fun seeing some seeds made here put to use, I know many are old hats at sending out seeds and seeing them grow around the country/world, but I have to admit I still get a little kick out of it!
Thanks again, and I’m definitely along for the ride.
Yep, they’re easy to germinate and grow, and will produce flowers constantly as long as they are deadheaded. The only problem I’ve had with zinnias is that some varieties are like PM magnets in certain climates.
Prepare to release mooring, activate PMD engine core. Yellow Bird of Peace rises once more. Load cargo bay with Purple Moby Dick #1 for transfer to moon base Vesti.
Yellow bird of peace has crash landed, PMD main engine core uptake coil… collapsed. 4 days of hard rain, everything stayed soaking wet and hot. Butt… rainy season has started here and friends and family in the west are experiencing record heat and approaching dust bowl conditions. Climate change will be humanity’s greatest test of survival… you know, till the mothership comes and vacuum who ever is left and drain them of their life essence.
What? I dislike ending a post on a sour note.
Have a great weekend.
Record heat to the Arctic Circle coming and a ground temperature of 118F in Siberia on the summer solstice… gotta go chill with some Rae bae and smooth jazz, be good to yourself.
It started like all days guarding the ruin stone from Ewok rebels, then I smelled peanut butter in the air and was saved by the spirit of OG shining thru the Monday gloom. As my hope started to fade about my BOG sour Bluetooth thoughts of restarting the UFO landing site, a path opened up and the imagined is becoming a reality.
Smoking Cultivar Rae Bae 30% THC Indica with a light touch of CBD. It smells and tastes like old school SkyWalker, the high is different… smooth jump couch speed.
While I was at the exspencery I also got bubblegum (a personal favorite) and white Buffalo, any thing from cultivar and binske’ is way too expensive and gone in minutes.
Thank you @Papalag that Bae Rae is strong like donkey! Kick like mule! I was watching wipeout and woke up 4 hours later. I have received confirmation that my BOG SourBluTooth is on the way, going to grow one female indoor and direct SBT pollination with a outdoor female for seeds.
Those PMD’s are sure getting put through their paces, they’re pretty tough nuts, so I’m glad you are not counting them out just yet!
I’m really curious to see if the little seedling/clone will take. I had a couple clones (other stuff) damp off a few days ago and caught them just in time to make cuts higher on the stem, and hopefully they will manage their business better this time.
The PMD’s are strong and have survived major rain events and a onslaught of bugs and mold. Their struggle has come to a end… Both are being moved to indoor with the blue dream. The elements and bugs are approaching the threshold of my ability for damage control outdoor with positive results.
Inflow/outflow: 100 cfm both way, functional. AC system set to 70% humidity and 80F
Extraction of PMD #1 from moon base Vesti successful, root system brown, limited growth above and below soil.
