It is a very unique strain to grow and smoke. Using it in edibles “gummies” even better to smoke it after the edible kicks in. Whole different level of “Zen” Yep Oregon legal eagle

I have 3 Frosted Valley in the ground, from @SamwellBB. It’s Platinum Valley x Do si Dos #9. Thats the same one he used in the Purple Poison Cookies that I loved so much. I have another one of his with that one in it, too. Plus three PPC cookies seeds left. That PPC was one of the best I’ve had in a long time and I think I had a special pheno. That’s always the way if you don’t take cuttings. 
I’ll look to see but I think I have a few of Sam’s crosses with it that I may be able to share a few. My three outside are growing fast. I put them in the dirt a week or so ago, from 2 gallon pots, knowing I only had a week or two of vegging. They’ve doubled size easily and still pushing hard just as buds are starting. It’s working out really nice. It’s gonna be hot every day with small chances of rain at best. So, It’ll allow them to put on as much size that’s possible at this point. I should get good yields on them all. Pics soon… I’m falling asleep.

I’ve grew poison ivy x dosido a few months back only been smoking it lately I’m liking it a lot .
Gave it a 3 month cure before trying it .

OK< I’m thinking of the WedCake/Gel x Dosi#9. Is that right? It did well for me the next time and I had no herm issues, and it was a clone of that first try that did herm, but I know what that was from; roots were too cold in the last half of that grow.
That one pheno of the PPC was the magic. I swear it was still the best I’ve had in a long time. Last year I lost two to a fungus and seeds and herms… I threw them and lots of others into bags to collect seeds. I lost my whole crop of all strains but have shit tons of seeds.
This year is much better. I had those 3 FV in 2 gallon pots and I got ill for a month and I thought I might not get anymore veg from them, but I stuck them in the dirt anyway, and they exploded.
I figured I had 1-2 weeks before they all started flowering but they’re four to five times bigger already. The weather has been pretty perfect, too. I have 3 females and really looking forward to some smoke from anything with that #9!
No males this year except two that are coming down tomorrow after I get clones and pollen. It’s the Lemon Thai IX from @santero, and another forum buddy, @Smilestyle.
I got two males and only one female and I was going to make seeds with them all at once, but lost 4 early. I had 2 from SAN, and one of Smile’s popped. I’m trying to get the pollen and then bring the female inside in a week or so as she has started to flower. No males otherwise.

Gonna pollinate the one and only female and see how it goes. I did get it into a larger felt pot and it’s begun to flower, but I want it to get a little larger.
I was gonna check in with @Santero to see if he may have any tips for them. One male is really busting. It’s more a narrow leaf and the other male has half the male flowers or even less but is more broadleaf. might as well use them both for extra diversity, but I might ask other’s advice there. I’ll try and get the pics uploaded.

I’m digging out old smoke in bags I need to de-seed and in need myself.
One of the volunteers smells so good. The seedling came off of the volunteer from last year and sprouted right in front of the mother’s old stump. Pretty cool. My own seedlings are already trying to become an IBL!, lol. Gonna try and gather some clones today. peace

All of the Sweet & Slow spit tails and are in solo cups. No peekers yet. Pulled out everything in the closet, trimmed all the fan leaves off and rehung them. The WW has big fat golf ball buds that look delicious. The SSDD has small buds but lots of them. SSDD was a bitch to trim! Alls good, everybody’s rockin’ and it was a good day. I’m grateful.

I figured you were in the trim shed. Did you remember how? Man, my outside is rolling nicely this year. I’ve had to do very little watering. Lots of extra rain water to use for a few days after each one.
If you see an ad in your paper that’ll go something like this; “hobo in southern Colorado seeks help picking fruit in late October”, come on up! I have an interesting run this year. After last year I’m surprised I got into it this summer. Enjoy the sweet times that are known as… the post trim, days.

Thank you brother. I wish I’d had more but I only got the three. Your two seeds made it and 4 of Smile’s never came up. I think they got damaged in transit.
The narrow leaf male is such a stud. It’s raining today and and I’m going to finish harvesting the pollen tonight since it’s in a room inside the house… I will keep some of the broad leaf male, but it wasn’t super impressive anyway. Not nearly as many flower sets.
I sort of wanted to get one more week on the female before I pollinate. Is it worth trying to shield a limb or two from pollen in order to get a few buds to smoke?
The female is pretty. She got a little stunted because I was late getting her out of the 2 gal pot. She grew a little more but started flowering right away. It’s a Christmas Tree shape about 4 foot tall in a 5 gal felt pot. It’s looking like it will yield well.
Hey, are there any more beans of that going around anymore? I plan to save some pollen. I’ll probably plant a few after the seeds mature good to test them out.

I was just thinking of popping some of the Lemon Thai. Heard good things about it. My boy grew a lemon Thai auto a while back. I think I posted a picture in the High till I Die thread. I’ve got buds hanging. I’ll burn a green tester tomorrow. Onward my brother!
