Oleskool’s Shitkicker Grow Show. Navigating the Fog

Dude, I wouldn’t trust a single thing anybody at any hydro shop tells me. Some of the dumbest conversations I’ve ever overheard were between customers and employees at various hydro stores. It’s crazy how little they know, considering that’s kind of their job.

Hey @minitiger. I realized that after about 15 minutes. Rarely do I ask them anything but the older lady that owns the store seems somewhat knowledgeable and she grows her own weed so I’ll take a chance. It’s my last attempt before I chop them and start over. I know I can’t put straight sulfur on them and I have to do something. If I can just limp my way to harvest it will be a blessing. Otherwise oleskool is weedless for 4 weeks! No Good! Can’t do it. Wouldn’t be prudent at this juncture. George Bush #1.We live harvest to harvest.

Here goes nothing! Lights on in 15 minutes.
I need some of those hopes and prayers that people are so generous with these days.

Hey pollen skeeters! So far so good. I got the 4 flowering plants sprayed. I was encouraged to see that the top 1/3 of the plants had no sign of PM. I sprayed the leaves that I didn’t trim off individually. Every leaf, stalks etc. on the bottom 2/3. I’ll repeat in 3 or 4 days and see what happens. I will divulge the product when I see if it works. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: I’m encouraged after seeing that the disease hadn’t progressed as much as I thought. With some diligence I think I’ll pull off harvesting these girls. Next week they start bloom boosters. Time to turn on the juice and cut the damn thing loose!

Blessings…

Where’s my time machine??

This made me realize that these no good 6” oscillating fans that don’t oscillate any longer aren’t getting the job done. I ordered 2 tower fans hoping to get more circulation and adjusted my AC infinity fan controllers to be more aggressive as far as fan speed is concerned. So it’s OTTF! Enjoying some cooler temps 81 and breezy. High humidity and a couple of days of rain coming.
Enjoy your weekend brothers and sisters!

I had to make some changes today. The heat in one tent is just a little high. Turned the air up on the fans. Around 80’ f

Hey @Hemp! Are you growing in an air-conditioned space? We have had unusually high humidity lately. I ordered some small portable dehumidifiers to see if it will bring it down some. No more PM! Take care. Thanks for stopping by the Shitkicker Shed.

Well fuck me dead! Three out of four Lemon Skunk/Sour Bluetooth sprouted big balls overnight. The one female I have now was the most impressive one so there’s that. Lol. I took 3 Crater Lake from Zen Veg and put them in their space. Such a bummer. My perpetual is looking shaky. If my Apple Fritter/TropCookies finish in 8 weeks I’ll be ok. The Black Tuna is almost gone so it’s gonna be close! :scream:

Y’all take care…

What’s happnin’ Cat Daddies! It’s been raining off and on all day. Humidity around 92%. I’m afraid this is facilitating my PM disease. I’m gonna spray them again tomorrow to try and keep it in check till I can harvest them. The top 1/3 of the plants look healthy. Weird. Buds are unaffected so far. :crossed_fingers: This weather will be around all week. :weary: I’m starting to mold up myself! I ordered some portable dehumidifiers for the flower tents but they can’t get here soon enough! I’m gonna ring myself out and get stoned. How’s the humidity at @GMan ’s
Place? About 20% I suspect. Take care y’all.

it was 8% two days ago with two days of mid 80 temps, 40-60 mph winds, and today we woke up to wet heavy fluffy snow, around 12 inches +. It was beautiful and is also gone already. It was much needed moisture. 100% humidity. :grinning:

I can get that stuff to you Wednesday I think. You might be able to find that Safer Brand Fungicide at Walmart. It made mine go away after a couple of sprays indoors. it was just starting though. It wasn’t full blown.

Hey man, got a Litfa Key job in the mail! Haaaa. hit me up anytime. I was a little under the weather today. May crash soon tonight.

I’ll try and get a pic up for you of that snow. It was a sight.

The nuts thing about the fungus is even bud mold will be exterminated by sulfur. In the case of trying to make seeds and bud mold is attacking your plant, if you spray the buds with sulfur, the bud mold will die and the seeds will be successful. Also, the mildew spreads faster when it’s really dry. Botrytis cinerea on the other hand only starts when the humidity is high. Then it takes 40+ days to make a colony that you can see with the human eye. Same with mildew, it’s visible to the human eye after about 40 days. I would say the powdery mildew came in on infected plant material within 40 days before you noticed it’s existence. Something within 6 meters.
