Oleskool’s Shitkicker Grow Show. Navigating the Fog

99 today and dry. Coming off a LITFA day the girls really suffered in the heat. Some curled up crunchy tips and all. I’ll have to check them daily so they won’t dry out so much. We come down to 97 tomorrow and Sunday it cools off nicely for 3 days. Then start over. No relief in sight. It’s a tough row to hoe I’ll tell you that! We’ll see what happens. All Love.

Blessings…

Gonna be close to 90 here today. Yesterday hit 90 and the forecast was supposed to be “much cooler than yesterday”. And today says much warmer than yesterday. So, I’m saying their forecast is bogus. But, it always is.

Been pretty fine so far but it can’t last forever. We actually got a small bit of rain yesterday.

Hang in there buddy. It’s only just begun.

Forecast here is solid rain all day today and periods of rain all weekend . Great long weekend camping weather.

It has been mid 90’s for a couple weeks. And very humid. Not supposed to be this hot this early in OKC. I think summer will suck pretty bad this year.

This is what days on end of 99-100+ degrees of Texas Heat will do to plants.

We cool off for 3 days coming up then back to 97-100. All I can do at this point is tend to them every day and hope for the best. Not a damn thing I can do about it. I’m going to rethink growing in the summer time if this is how it’s going to be.

That can also happen if you feed plants that are very hot and thirsty. They suck up too much nutrient too fast and burn. The thing to do is give them some plain water and let them sit and suck that up to cool off. Then feed them. I didn’t do that last feeding so it’s quite possible that’s what happened. I may have done it to myself. I know better too.

Time for self flagellation.

Shitty!
I have a grow tent going in my shed. It is consistently 95-100 in the tent.
This has been for the past nearly 2 weeks. Im close to Oklahoma City.
I’ve been staying on top of it pretty well. I have several fans going in there. I do think circulation helps a lot.
Good luck bruddah!

Oooph… Yeah, I mean, what can you do? If it gets hot, it gets hot. Unless you wanna install a 12-ton or something, you gotta ride it out. I feel for you, though, brother. How far along are they again? I’m sure you can get some useable flower from them before, like, June haha…

Week 4. Lots of bud. I’ll get something out of it I’m sure. I think I still have time to turn them around. Or I could open the tent tomorrow and find them all tits up dead! Whatever. I’m gonna get stoned now.

Be careful feeding overheated plants. Heat is hard to beat. Kelp helps and recharge helps. You’re correct about air circulation. At this point I’m pulling heated air into the tent and exhaust super hot air. You just can’t get there from here.

Hey brother. I don’t remember it ever being this hot in May. Like you said we get a short break this weekend. It gets harder every year to grow in the summer time. I feel for the outdoor growers trying to keep their shit alive right now. My normally beautiful front yard is DEAD! The Universe may be telling us “too late! I warned you.” Bottom line…there’s not a damn thing I can do about it. As you know these days the news can really get to me at times. But I apply the same principle. There’s not a damn thing I can do about it. I hope you have a cool breezy day. All love my friend.

We were around 96° today, and it may be higher tomorrow… there is a lot of moaning!

I’m guessing you use a bit more silicon when it’s like this… I think it helps my grove.

Chilling thoughts, brotherman :snowman: :cloud_with_snow: :snowboarder:
