The sun is going down and I just finished feeding the girls. I was informed recently that I wasn’t giving my plants enough water/nute solution. I’m in 5 gallon cloth pots and I used to give 1/2 gallon per pot with no runoff. Now I went up to a gallon per pot. I get just slight runoff now but feeding them takes so much longer. I only have to water 3 times a week instead of every other day. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
So let’s marvel at some very nice looking youngsters if I do say so. There are 5 Crater Lake and 4 C-99, all by @Muleskinner
And a long tall Trainwreck AC
AND lo and befuckin’ hold, another MaMilk herm or male.
Some Grandaddy Purple
Apologies for the shit pics. iPhone and shaky hands.
Peace…
10-4 on the Fulvic Acid. I’m big on humic but never honed in on the fulvic. That article made it nice and easy to understand.
It’s a must if using raw organic nutrients like I do. Humic and fulvic are the vehicles that make it easy to get inside the cell walls of your plant.
I haven’t specifically used fulvic yet but I will. I added in trace elements with humic acid, and have been trying that Mammoth P samples and I’m finding out I don’t need the same amount of nutes anymore. My uptake has been much better. I always use Oregonism myco/bacto mix and have upped it a little, too.
I’m like you, I use ProMix which is just peat moss and perlite with some myco. I add EWC and sometimes a bit of compost of Ocean Forest soil, but otherwise I have to add stuff to the mix to make it complete.
That’s why I like Organic so much. You have to have all of the parts in place to make it work and I’m still finding ways to better things. But the “less nutes” is a welcome discovery. That saves a lot of money. It’s all about the microbiology when it comes to organic.
I think I’ll try the fulvic since i’m on that train. I’ve been learning and fine tuning things this last year and I’m happy so far.
They have done some river restoration in the section that runs through town but the rest of the river runs completely through private land, and it also is used heavily for irrigation down stream.
But, we have a lake on it that is just over the hill from me. It’s about a 2 mile drive. It’s a great place to fish. Lots of trout, bass, walleye, catfish and Wiper. And you can see the mountain range from the lake.
So, they use that water to sell to Kansas, downstream. So, depending on the drought, the river upstream gets very shallow. But there are large brown trout in it. They came down into the lake once the water came back up and let them get out of being trapped in large pools in the river all winter.
The locals just sit on the bank and fish old style and catch a lot of big fish. Early like now, or near winter we have a herd of elk that will graze near the lake, and tons of deer.
So, the water, even through town fluctuates wildly in summer. Sometimes they shut the water off from the dam almost and other times of heavy rain it can get big.
We have a nice snowpack in the mountains down here, it looks like. So if it stays cool and not so windy, that equates to a more full lake. It’s way down from last year. The weather looks to be on a warming trend after today. Supposed to be in the 50’s today and warmer than yesterday, but the wind has already started early and it’s still only 30… We’ll be back to spring starting tomorrow. Then it may snow one more time between now and May 7. All normal.
Hey bro. I don’t know if it’s organic or not but this is a great source.

Been using FulPower for years now. Doesn’t take much. 2-3 ml per gallon. Apparently it’s organic after all?
What’s up with the Mother’s Milk? Is that not the first to herm?
I have 4 that I’m moving up to bigger pots, hopefully today.
I hadn’t heard of any problems before. So, they were female? Thanks for the heads up.
The Maui Wowie caught me off guard. Two fems went full male, and now I found a bud or two with seeds and actually on another MWCB and one sour bubble. But that could be some loose pollen on my back porch from before, from when I take them out to the sun when it’s nice. I never saw a herm flower on either one but they can also form inside a bud. I had that happen once. peace
I might have done it myself by letting them get too dry one time. I say that because I also had 2 Lebanese Sinatra do the same thing. They’re in the same tent. I haven’t heard of it happening to anyone else either. The count so far…2 MM and 4 LS Hermèd.
I can’t honestly say at this point which were male and which were queers. I have a tendency to violently destroy them at the first sight of balls!
Have a great day my friend.
I feel like any problems I have with herms requires me to look at my own practices first. I’m sort of loose with my techniques at time, lol. I never balme the plant or breeder until I can be sure it wasn’t me.
Some strains are also just more easy to stress than others. Try getting some Agsil 16H Potassium Silicate. That place is probably the cheapest I’ve seen. I think I paid $20 at Build a Soil w/free shipping in Colorado. Next time I’ll use these guys at MB_Ferts. It’s water soluble so you can just add into a feeding or watering mix.
It aids in stress management. It also strengthens cell walls creating beefier stems and resistance to pests. It’s supposed to aid in larger flowers, but I can’t make that claim necessarily. If you’re using stuff like promix or peat I feel like it helps. Our natural dirt seems to have a lot but it’s clay, too. One day I’ll have some soil tests done on my natural dirt.
I’m putting my MM into brand spanking new 3 gallon felt pots today. They’re much better than my older ones. The handles are smaller and are super reinforced which is where the old ones always tear out.
I treated myself to a basic, 3 bag Bubble Magic kit and the pots yesterday for my birthday, heh. I always wanted to try it. I have to do some studying!
Supposedly the Bubble Magic are a better product. They had a cheaper version but I’ve seen the issues others have had with cheap stuff. I have a shitload of older smoke that may or may not make decent hash. I also have lots that isn’t old. peace
Send out great seed and see what happens?
Thee first I’ve heard on Any of the stuff I’ve made past or present to have a herm issue.
This mothers milk is a full male, if the lebanese sinatra were looking like this they were probably just males which sexed late. maybe you just ended up with a lot of males this round, sorry about the male to female ratio on your lebanese sinatra.
I hope the remaining female plants perform well and make up for the loss.
Me either. I figure it’s usually something I did. Some strains are more susceptible and will herm if you say fuck around them! This is rare for me. But you know it goes. Old and sometimes really high.
Yes sir I’m sure I fucked up somewhere. They got really dry and suffered a semi-wilt once when I couldn’t get out there. They came right back but I thought at the time this might happen to some. I’ve got more MM that are fine. In all candor, it’s likely some were male and not herms. No disrespect here my friend. Peace…
Hey man, it happens but I agree they could be early males. They presented like that right after flip. Who knows? I still have some nice LS girls and I can just grow mo. No worries my friend.
Blessings…
