@Hugh_Glass —sooo glad I don’t have kids. Known since I was 16 that I didn’t want children. So I can’t comment directly on raising young ones.
But…I have a dear friend who is gay, and he said something that struck me. He was talking to someone who asked him if he has any control over being gay. My friend replied to him: “Do you have any control over being straight?”
I dont claim to understand why gays are the way they are. I honesty dont care . I dont care what two adults do in their bed room . Im all for gay rights , marriage and all that. .
I question if kids are truly gay , attention seeking or doing it to be cool.
Installed one of my Solis tek 1000w ballast today. I didnt see a difference but my lumens meters register around 35-40% more lumens. There was a few degree temperature raise too. Itll be good for the winter.
I’ll Have some pics of my BP 4 weeks in flower in my grow journal tomorrow at watering. 6’ tall in a 3 gallon pot pearls buds stacking in a helix around the stalks with slightly conical kolas.
Thanks , Im not the inventor though many great men before me have done this. It alloww you to run 4x the plants than I normally would. I should be able to fit 80 med-large indoor plants in my area in my maths correct.
That’s a cool setup, very clever. It reminds me of those old wheel systems that used to be popular like the Omega garden where the plants rotate around the light and dip into the nutrient solution when they get to the bottom. People used to pull crazy numbers off them, super efficient.
@beacher Ya those Omega gardens were really cool. Thats the idea though being as effciant as possible. In my mid 20s I used to watch Heath Robinson over at HG420 and be awe struck . The picture of the flower room were incredible. Hopefully I can do the setup justice… @Instg8ter thats really cool thanks . Romulan good smoke youll love it.
There was a guy on one of the forums from Eastern Europe I believe who hung his lights vertical surrounded by chicken wire. Then he would take plants in regular pots on the ground and train them up along the wire around the light, he had some really great results. His name is lost among the years of bong resin haha
Called Columnar growing large tube with light hanging in the middle. Trellis and clip the stems to the chicken wire and veg for 6 months. Think he pulled 14 Lbs… per tube if I recall.
Vertical sog , I can see that working that way ,probably took a wile to fill that fence growing in dirt.
This will be fun though. . Im still trying to figure out how to support the plastic 5x5 tubular channels.
I do know im going to have a aeroponic sprayer in between each plant. That will drain back to the res.
Ive already grabbed more beans I want to pop too. I wish I had more room.
Its going to need more than that there is going to be a bit of weight the needs to firmly be secured to the wall . It has to be mounted at a certain angle for drainage and stay at that angle .
I think im going to have to build shoe rack like fixtures.
I have to take the double ended bulb down with open hood . It’s way to hot with out an exhaust system in there . My carbon filter will be here this week maybe after that or I’m going to need a air cooled hood . It heating everything up way to much. The winter spring fall it’ll be great but the next few months ain’t happening.
What about making an LED that’s built 360degrees around a tubular heat sink with central fan to cool sink? Actually thought of it when I was looking at that columnar grow thread. Can’t find it, may have been on THC F.
