Outdoor pest rant thread

Hey bud, as a hunter, me.and crew deal with this a lot, spending much time in woods. Ticks mostly wait for movement and drop from trees, believe it or not. And all the old timers,.many I know won’t even go into the woods without pyrethrin. They swear by it. I’m a believer.

Permetherin SFR for the ticks> I spray in spring twice, about 10 days apart. Rarely see a tick after that and this place is full of them.

Thought I’d share a few photos I took over the last week or so… been noticing the eggs or whatever they are in the first photo on a few plants (I usually just rip off that portion of the leaf and remove it from the area). Second one… blech.

I’m kinda itching (no pun intended) to spray but I’ve been seeing wasps and lady beetles on my plants and I’d rather not kill them.
