Thanks bud, I am happy to hear that. Been scratching my head with that one.
Yeah, they look happy.
Thanks for growing these out man, I love watching this strain develop.
The seedlings growing was the first thing paralyzing about this strain.
Are you saving cuts of these back? Can you do that at all with the numbers game we gotta play?
Had not given it much thought. I supposed I could take some clones if I were to keep them someplace else.
If you like evening, relaxing, help you sleep stuff, that may be the thing to do.
Then you can use them in a bud run for yourself
What I really am looking forward too is these things showing sex. Depending on what is in there I may pull a female out and move here someplace else for bud. Just got to see how the numbers go and which plant turns out to be what. For all I know I got 5 males or 5 females. Man it even hurt typing that. With pollen coming from you I can live with females, if they are all males than this seed run will last longer than anticipated. LOL. I am putting my vote in for 3 or 4 females with 1 or 2 males but nature is going to do what it does. Hey, it let me use the like button again, woo hoo.
All we can do is adapt to that bro.
I really am enjoying this grow brother.
Thanks man, I am as well. So much support here it’s really cool. If only this would not keep happening…
Absolutely. Control what we can, adapt to what we can’t. It’s all any of us can do.
Sometimes plants just want to do their droopy thing, lol.
I have noticed it happen before when changing the light intensity though, especially to high power LEDs.
@DougDawson I’m totally in love with this grow. One look at those leaves and I can tell this variety is right up my alley!
Thanks, seeds will be coming your way when this is done. Seeds for all, that is the goal of this grow and it will be done Glad you are tagging along, the more the merrier.
Looking just lovely Doug. the look off those leaves.
Thanks very much. I am really enjoying this one. Mostly because of people like you. Thanks for following along.
So another day done, hope to relax for the weekend. Government just turned our latest 4 week lockdown into a 6 week lockdown. After we have been basically living like prisoners for a year while I have been working in 3 hospitals full of Covid patients I swear, the next government clown that says we are not taking this seriously is going to meet me. Than they are going to find a size 13 Kodiak up their posterior. Sorry about that, rant over. So a few pics of our little seed factories
Just because the drooping is bugging me I took a light reading of the old light and dialed down the new light to match what it was getting in the other tent. May not do anything but even at half power my HLG was way brighter. Now the PPP are getting same intensity as it was before I moved the plants
Being in veg, I wouldn’t think the light would make that drastic a difference. Just my opinion, looks more like a watering issue or some kind of nutrients. But I have never used HPS lamps ever, only LED. So what do I know? Type of light may have more to do with it than I think.
Doug what distance from light to canopy? And they are under led, right?
It’s an HLG 600 Rspec but it came out of a tent with a 150 watt Mars light. It’s the same feed I give all my plants, GH Trio with some CaliMagic and Epsom salt. The funny part is it didn’t start drooping till I moved to the bigger tent with the bigger light. It’s still growing strong, just looks a bit sad. I water once a day, the pots are light when I do and it’s in coco/perlite. DTW once a day. Never leave in runoff. Closest plant is 45 inches from light, tons of space. Normally I veg them at 30" with 50% power. 24 " for Flower. I turn the light up day one of flip slowly so I am at full power in about 10 days. These plants is further away at around 35% right now but that’s the reading I got for the mars. PH is at 6.
Hopefully they will snap out of it. I might try putting the lights a little closer for a day or two. I run one 150 watt led MarsHydro during veg in 4X4 tent at about 24" from canopy and then for flower I kick on a second MarsHydro 150 watt both running at 75 percent and 18-20 inches from canopy for first week or two and kick them in full gear and fluctuate 14-18 inches above canopy. I always feel if I am not burning the tops of the plants it is ok. Just my opinion.
