Right now the are getting the same Par as they were under the mars. I normally go 300 watts at 30" for veg. The only reason the light is so far is because these things went droopy as soon as I put them in there. The light was closer and at 50% when I moved them. They will snap out of it. As long as they stay green and healthy they will give us seeds. I just hate seeing them looking sad, lol. I will have to see how they look tomorrow after the adjustment and go from there.
Not trying to infiltrate your grow my friend just trying to help you not your own knowledge on what could be wrong.
I really appreciate it man, by all means keep the suggestions coming. I want to hear them and am appreciative. What I don’t know could and does fill libraries and I don’t feel like you are infiltrating anything. Seriously, I want to hear your opinions. Ran out of likes again .
Just a suggestion Doug. But maybe leave the Cal-Mag and Epsom out for a couple feeds. Reason I suggest it is the Candyland I grew was a fat leaf thick stock plant and I was having issues until I eliminated the Cal-Mag. After that it took off. I use tap water which I believe is about the same as yours. If your using RO water well that’s a different story.
That is easy enough done @Floyd . I will mix up a new batch of nutes and feed 2 of them without the Epsom salt and Cal-Mag. That should tell us in a day or 2 if that’s the issue. Thanks bud, happy to give that a shot. Hey I appreciate the input from you, BigMike55 and everyone else. Keep the ideas coming.
I have some going. I managed to slow them by transplanting too early and the humidity dropped and I have been struggling with it since. I do know the only ones of mine that actually lift the leaves are almost dry. This is in soil though.
You have some PPP going and it is also drooping like mine? Can you post some pics?
Ok so the lights came on and I snapped a few pics. Going to try what Floyd suggested and drop the Calimagic and Epsom Salt for tonight’s feeding. I will feed in a few hours, want to see how they look once they wake up with new light setting.
as stated they slowed when I up potted too soon. They are now struggling with humidity at the least. Exacerbated by being started in rock wool. Not an issue at all unless like I did you did not really wait for roots to emerge all the way and just up potted. I suspect a couple never penetrated the rockwool and the roots are not established.
They actually look a tad better to my eye. True test is usually what new growth looks like. Hang in there man
Absolutely, they are going turn out just fine, I have faith. A few tweaks is all they need, just have to figure out the right tweaks. I have to do it one thing at a time so I know what is helping. I appreciate the input and suggestions bud.
The main thing is that they are growing
They’re coming around for sure. They were just getting a little nap in before the big ride.
Thanks man. I have never had such a temperamental strain before but it wants to grow so any issues are on me, not them. A few adjustments and these things are going to be awesome. After watching them for days I can’t help but think the light adjustment has helped. As they get stronger I can turn it back up.
Thats what I was thinking. Very easy to try and nothing lost.
Well, at this point they are 1 generation indoors and like 50 years outdoors. So keep that in mind. They aren’t yet used to their environment, so they may benefit from a few rounds of selection toward the ones that seem to do the best in tents.
Yes sir, appreciate the input. I will try it tonight on
half of them. The weird part is that when you look at pics 7 days ago before I moved them under the new light they looked fine. That’s why I think the light intensity is an issue as nothing else changed including their feed. Now I have adjusted light to the level there were at before move and I will try your suggestion as well on half so I know what worked. If nothing else I am having fun and learning so life is good.
That’s a great point. There should be plenty of seeds in the end for someone to stabilize for better indoor.
Damn man… definitely a difference after the adjustment- nice work💥
