Paps runs BOG , Lefthanded seeds, Orange Goji ,Oregon Huckleberry, and useful seeds Octopot style

Oh, this one was. I finished her up all alone in a closet here right after I moved to this house. It just has it all. Perfect open Christmas tree structure with hefty pine come shaped buds with pinks and reds in the end. The reds were on the undersides of the buds. It was just as red as anything. It’s Exodus Cheese x C99 male from Eskobar. He stopped his commercial stuff but @santero has all of his mother plants and is planning a repro on a few, eventually.

Chucky’s Bride was a very popular one. I’ll get the pics. I’m finally getting caught up around here(not really) so I want to show it. I’ve bragged about it enough, heh. peace

I changed the wire holding down the branches to a heavy wire not that green coated plant wire now the frame of the mainline is straight and tight

That’s awesome. I’d like to try that sometime. It makes total sense. How much extra time does it add, you think?

Not sure so far she’s in the Octopots since 11/6 now the first 2 weeks she was slow do to her roots needed to hit the Rez I think maybe 3 to 4 more weeks going to let her get a 12 to 15 inches tall then flip she should double plus in size so we shell see
I plan on doing the same in the big tent

Peace

Hi all
The big tent

In the back left is @BogSeeds bogglegum
She’s about 30 days from seed topped at the 3 node she grew to 7 node before I topped her glad I did she has a solid main to work with
I normally would have used a clone in the Octopot but she was beautiful roots were pruned before transplant
Front left
Is Oregon Huckleberry clone rooted in ten days
Back right
Panama haze x Lebanese Panama phenotype
Also rooted in 10 days
The orange goji clone I want is still taking her time about rooting lol

I hear you there growing up in Soundview in the South Bronx

back in the late 1980’s I would drive a big circle around the Adirondacks

looking for land marks finding them than drop off 6 or 8 plants

put out hundreds

come back in the fall and pick what you get

all the best at your fishing hole

Welcome to the Oct- Dome
Transplanted the 3 clones into the Octopots
They were not use to not being under the dome so I’ll give them a few days to acclimate themselves to their new homes
Final line up right front orange goji
Left front Oregon Huckleberry
Left back bogglegum
Right side back Panama haze x leb Panama phenotype

As for the bogglegum which is far ahead I plan on doing a 16 cola mainline with her were the other ladies will go 8 only giving the others some time to catch up hopefully  we shell see

I’ve done a modified version of this technique but this time I’m going to follow the book on this one so to speak

All comment and suggestions are more then welcome

Peace

Did a little cleanup on the blackened oranges today
I figure It’s time to let her just grow vertical a bit and prune maybe one or 2 more nodes

Made some hash not much but I just love this stuff

Hi all just some notes
Yes you can without issues transplanted plant a young plant in to the Octopots once sexed just prune the roots when up potting saves at least 3 weeks instead of from clones
Plants established themselves quickly Also can begin training a lot sooner
And show no deficiencies during there transition !
In the big tent
Pic is BOG bogglegum
Mainline style ( I broke a main off I was a little too ruff :disappointed:) going for 14 mains on this one

Oregon Huckleberry Roots just hit the res took 14 days . she has some deficiency issues I added cal mag and Epson salts to the res the color is coming back and new growth looks good she’s going to be topped once she establishes herself very tight node spacing

Panama haze x Lebanese Panama phenotype
Roots hit the res in 12 days topped at the 4 node , she has large spacing between nodes also added cal mag and Epson salts to the res

Orange goji roots hit the res fast with this lady (10 days ) and was bushy before topping
Long uneven spacing between node very healthy and growing quickly

Now for the little tent
Useful seeds blackened oranges - she is beastly
I feel she should get a bit bigger before I flip her ( maybe 1 more week )
All you mainline guys should I trim off 1 more set of branches ? Or let her go ?

Under her skirt

Hmm, for how bushy she is, I likely would trim off one more set of branches on each main. I don’t mind the one’s that want to grow into the center so much, but definitely the side and back branches should be chopped.

Meant to say, things are looking fantastic in there!

I’ve been really tempted to pull the trigger on a couple octo’s the last week or two, but unsure of what soil to use and nutes. I have megacrop v2 1-part, megacrop v3 2-part house and garden aqua flakes, and maxigro/maxibloom, Happy Frog, Ocean Forest, or supersoil. I’ve seen you guys use HP Promix, but I can only find the BX locally, would I just add perlite and call it a day? They’re also a bit pricy… been debating tryin to hack up some fabric pots and like a tupperware or rubbermaid to diy one but for the ~$50 they cost, should just bite the bullet…
