Pat Healy Grows & Nonsense

I’ll plant them in a solo cup then use a quart ziplock over the top of the cut for like 2 days and then usually they’re fine to take off the bag. If they’re a particularly picky variety, I’ll cut a corner on the zip lock to give it a day or two to harden off before they’re ready to not have a bag on.

My problem is I only have little pots with holes in the bottom. Do the Solo cups people use for rooting cuts and hardening off have holes as well? That would be perfect. I was just thinking I couldn’t go that route if I had holes in the bottom. @ramblinrose

I just use scissors to cut the 4 corners on solos so they have holes at the bottom and then plant the rooted cuts in soil, and use the quart size bag to keep them happy in humidity until they’re established.

You can also mist them lightly to help with the transition

That’ll do it. I usually take the bag off and on. Let’s them get used to the higher transpiration

Sweet! Thanks! How often do you pull the bags on and off?

When I get clones I use my Kitchen sink while I sleep. I fill a couple inches of water, put a bowl upside down in the water for my new clones to rest on. It is a deep sink and it works well for climatizing clones. This way you do not have to worry about domes or bags while you sleep.

You could use a mixing container for quickcrete. Fill it with a coupld inches of water toss in some bricks and rest your clone tray on the bricks.

So you don’t put any cover over them or anything, just make sure they’re in a container on top of a few inches of water? That’s an interesting/nifty way of doing it. Thanks for sharing!!

You saying leaving them uncovered and misting them will acclimatize them as well? I was wondering about that.

I use the sprayer attachment on the sink to mist the clones. The first few hours I still do the top on and off. When I take the top off I mist the clone before putting the top back on. I do twenty mintes on ten minutes off for three hours or until I get high.

Depends on how focused you are able to be. Domes if you’re not going to be there constantly

My domes don’t fit and I’ll be here constantly while they acclimatize.

I’ll send it to you if you want it, but you probably have access to it already. Your buddy probably has it somewhere at his place hidden amongst the mothers. Haha.

Nice!!! I love to see it!! We have many of the same bags. I’ve tried narrowing it down to just what I want/need the most, but it’s still a lot of ingredients. Haha. The ginger, turmeric, and celery were just not up to my taste. I take them in capsules and just eat the celery now. I’m thinking of ordering another 5-10 things to add though. Haha.

It was cool to see you running/holding all of those SD cuts too. Have you flowered them all out and smoked them yet?
