If he uses i sponge soaked in RO water with two buckets one with clean sponge water and one with rinse water you think that sulpher caked up like that would leave a residual footprint on those leaves to hold the line?
You might be able to scrub it off, but it IS notoriously difficult to get off after application. I can tell you one thing about the sulfur; once it’s caked on, no mildew can grow on that surface. I should do some applications and gently try and wash it off. might be interesting to see what happens!
same as u recommended but a lot of it it kinda chucked up at the top maybe i should have mixed it better lol
Yah I always spray it on while I shake the container up. The shit doesn’t really dissolve in water.
Mine looked more caked than that, but as they grew, it slowly went away. The expanding leaves and stems probably shed it? By the time I flipped them, there wasn’t a trace… and no pm either
Wanted to jump in and thank @JoeCrowe. So far so good and that’s better than anything else I’ve tried. Can’t join but will attend every sermon as he spreads the good news and vanquishes the evil one. How many growers have reported success in this thread using your methods? 11? 12?
Thank you.
lol! This thread is where we come to learn things by observation. Stimulating minds!
I left the other thread that beacher made in a theory I call “gazorpazorp” education. Over here we’re learning, but over there “the boys get to play outside”. Yah, truth be told, I’ve received many thanks for my efforts on exterminating the mildew. There was a huge gap in knowledge world wide where people thought the mildew was forever. Easy enough conclusion to reach, if you don’t know how to hit it in the giblets. Eventually someone might find a new substance to wipe it out. These are the basics that show how it CAN be done.
- magnesium
- earthworm casting tea
- low humidity
More falsified ideas will come to me heh heh. Remember people, if anyone says one of these things on this numbered list eradicates mildew, they are making shit up.
oh I forgot about this one! So someone has a “trick” they use to keep powdery mildew at bay, right? I don’t care if it’s spraying sulfur or spraying bleach or standing on your head. It’s total bullshit.
What’s real? Positively identifying the parasite and blowing it away. I know this is a… hard one? but I never treat an imaginary problem. I identify the problem, and I move to end it. It’s kind of a next level “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it”.
That’s why understanding it is the most important aspect. Then you know which problems are imaginary, right away. I call it “pre-bunking” hah hah! The most gnarly part is when someone hasn’t made a thousand observations and can’t really know which problems are just in your mind.
When I find myself in that position, I get observing!!! Science allows you to do that, it’s called “see for yourself”.
I’m pretty much 99% certain that’s not going to eradicate mildew.
You’ve actually all pointed out something valid. I don’t make money off you when you cure up the mildew. I need to whip up a magical potion that you have to keep buying from me that keeps mildew at bay. Hmm I’d even do you a solid and make sure there was enough sulfur in it to make it SEEM like it’s working to trick your mind. Then I’ll sell it for 15$ a quart.
Wait… even better! I’ll make an app for your cell phone that keeps the mildew at bay. As long as you pay me a subscription fee, the mildew won’t get you. I know, a few people will actually GET the mildew and unsubscribe. But the majority won’t. Clever eh?
Cant eradicate mildew if you don’t get it.when’s the last time you seen a kid with polio other that the home schoolers not vaccinating thier children?.think outside the box Hash Matty your supposed to be the cutting edge here lol.I’ll get you on track you’ll see
heh heh, I’m not sure who their product is fooling. Riddle me this… so what happens when you bring an infected plant into the room? You eradicate the mildew on it using that product?
I’d say that’s a bad analogy. lol it’s not what you call “home schoolers” not vaccinating their kids, you sound insane.
https://www.nytimes.com/2022/09/09/nyregion/new-york-polio-state-of-emergency.html
Whenever I think of powdery mildew on my plants, I think back to the old days of lighting a bunch of screamer fireworks in a metal garbage can in the grow room with all ventilation off. Can’t remember where I got the idea from…guaranteed it didn’t work…lol…so nobody try that.
If you follow a 2 week quarantine you wouldn’t just put it in your room it would have been cured with a IPM sulpher spray.Your talking in circles again.
If your vaccinated against polio you don’t get polio who would have known? One of the most successful in the world. Yeah sounds crazy right?
I think his comment was regarding “home schoolers”. Not all of them are anti-vaxxers, and not all anti-vaxxers are home schooled.
Let me rephrase that so no one is triggered then ppl who school at home thier children whom don’t vaccinate them.Is that more PC so some one doesn’t have a shit fit here or is someone else offended?
