Pricey Beans

I’ll put in for an F2 rip off of this for one reason: THCV is a medicinally important component for many, many MMJ users. Fuck Dutch Passion. 'Should have given them away. :fist:

Its shit like this is why we must make cannabis seeds free or as close to free as possible. Especially People of poor health/finances who know nothing and are trying to into the game to better their health, and have no reference. Then get outpriced out of using cannabis and quit.
I remember being in high school when Emery came out with $400 packs of HOG seeds. Hope each pheno was a keeper i guess at that price. Juicy Fruit $420 pk.
Brutal!!!.

I occasionally buy (Humboldt csi) packs that are 250$ 200$ for 7 fems. If I really dig that strain and your company. (Csi) The breeder I buy from gives you double your order plus a but load of freebies if ypure spending overy 200 a pack.
Having said that. If beans where 100 bucks for 12 40 years ago there has to be some type of inflation. It’s not cheap to hold all those mom’s clone flower . The cost of everything has went up allot in 40 years.
1000$ is crazy for a pack though and there has been much higher. Mac 1 f1s from cap come to mind.

I’ve wanted a pack of Cali-O for a while. Just have a hard time dropping a bill for 6-7 seeds.
Might try a differ breeder.

Expert Seeds has their version, outta stock at Seedsman when on sale…

Your not getting 6 or 7 seeds . You usually get about 15 your pack and three others .
Here’s the thing and I’ve purchased allot of cheap seeds. Your getting great gentics. Your lucky to get one keeper in a 50$ pack .Almost every seed is a keeper . Look at his instagram.

??? Are you saying Caleb puts 15 fems instead of 7 fems? Or are ya including th freebies?
Never grown anything thing from him before, but heard good things though…

Including freebies
There are others breeders thats just as good who’s cheaper too.
Verdant green comes to mind. Chimera too.

I personally think finding a breader you like is
Allot better than finding a company that just sprays pollen against its best pheno found in pack just to produce seeds cheaply . That’s what I worry about when I buy a cheap pack.
Some thought and care went into a breeding program . It makes a difference, no matter the price.
I own allot from green point seeds , they have great prices too. I have heard nothing but great things about them.
It’s my plan to try to s2 all the s1 I buy from csi so I don’t have to buy them again.

I wish there was a list of U.S Breeders with or without a site that sales direct.
If possible I try to deal with the breeders directly. But many prefer not to deal with sales to the public.

Green point seeds , csi , ag seed Co , headies all places in the USA I used and had success.
Baked/ soaked beans , great lake genetics , Neptune seeds and bog seeds are others I haven’t used but have a great reputation.
Seeds take the same amount time for me getting them in the UK as they do in the USA 5 to 7 days . I’m in new England

Any clue to what Portland CSI is compared to Humboldt CSI? Is it the same co?

Never used them I think I read it’s a sister company , breeder.

While I agree with the idea of the F2 and spreading them for free I still can’t get behind paying $500 for the pack. While the seed run would seem to screw them. In reality all it would do is reinforce their idea that they are fine selling at those prices. Honestly at those prices it’s just them assuming that’s what would be done with them anyway and instead of getting 60-100 from 5-10 people they now get them to group together their money to get a single pack. It’s a bigger bonus for them if that group don’t find their keeper and then need to buy a second pack.

100$ is very close to my max for a pack. I don’t hate on established breeders charging up to 250$. For their exclusive top notch strain. Herb can become very personal n it’s like selling a pet. I also get that this market isn’t really that big. So marketing in a way to sell in mass isn’t always feesable. But more than 250$ is insane. Not when you can get cuts of most anything for under 150. Buying a Mercedes off five plants is a joke.

I would have loved to got the Mass Medical Grape Pupil. But $125 for a pack is too much! Now if he would do half packs I could go along with that.
It’s the big chunk at one time that hurts me.

And I like his strains and his way of breeding…

I just burned through a load of Kush Mints and it’s a heavy hitter but I would never spend that on seeds lol

Mass medical is a joke. He’s a 20 year old kid that pollen Chuck’s with starship stock that professor p gave him to try. His mystery strain he uses to breed everything with is dynasty hard work that he has been working for 10+ yrs. He’s in it for the money nothing else. If you want something good just bypass mass medical fraud and buy some dynasty gear.
