I just got banned from MNS forums. Someone came into my thread to spout on about Mendel and I said Mendel doesnt translate to cannabis - too many alleles, mutations, etc. So I got banned.
Iāve been in the industry for a decade and, yeah, very rare to meet genuinely good people like Bodhi. The majority are people like Rez and Subcool. Being in the Triangle for a bunch of years, I can say many of those farms are merely fronts for meth/heroin, human trafficking, Merry Prankster bullshit, and the rest off the shittiest end of the human spectrum.
Going to Emerald Cup, theres one or two handfuls of people I enjoy meeting. The rest of them are shooting up heroin or meth. Shit, last year at the afterparty someone gave me āmollyā and it turned out to be fentanyl. Thank god I have a tolerance from my old days of being on pain meds for my spinal injuries.
The Burning Man community isnt far off either. Ive met some of the most beautiful people. But Ive also met some straight up satanists who tried to ruin my life for exposing predators and pedophiles in the community.

One can figure that any [powder or pill) has a good chance that itās cut with fentanall - know of 5 people that have overdosed because of ālacedā product. Guess use at ones own risk but it one is addicted you are playing with a loadeed gun !!! Know of some that check (test) their pills/powder before they take it

Anyone hunt Mr. Nice New Skunk yet? Iāll do another Skunk Hunt run one of these days. Have some of these to include along with a bunch of other candidates.
In my last Skunk hunt had a few plants with Skunky stem rubs but none of them exhibited in the flowers.
More along the lines of the thread title, the main problem I have had with Riot Seeds has been consistently getting poor germination rates. The plants I have grown have been nice.

Well Iāll be damned. I never wiped my counters with soap or anything. In fact, last month I had a pretty bad cold and I put the seeds right in my mouth with all them bacteria in there! After that I put it in some soil and the soil had a piece of leaf in there from a previous grow that was molding over and I just flicked it out without sterilizing the patch of soil.
Fook me.
I guess my grow is completely fucked now.
Poor me.
I donāt know why you guys are talking about expensive, I pay 600 bucks a seed all the time. Itās 2022 people, get with the times.

Just the other day I saw someone post an āethos lifetime subscriber dealā for 1000 bucks, one time deal, and youād get āmore than equal valueā in return in goodies and seeds. Well Iām pretty sure Iām not gonna pay over 1000 dollars in my lifetime for all the strains I specificall want to grow and breed with, and Iām never THAT charmed by goodies, so I canāt for the life of me figure out how 100s or even 1000s of seeds of whatever the next dispo line-up turns out to be is gonna add that value when people often grow to have their choice and not the dispoās choice of pot.
The guy who mentioned the ethos link has also stated heās largely unimpressed with what heās gotten. I think he was a first or second tier subscriber and I have no clue what his fee was but I bet it was outrageously exorbitant by my standards.

Ethos is a good breeder but like any other sometimes they make a strain that isnāt so good or doesnāt ācatch-onā donāt know anybody that has produced great seeds all the time. Ran a few that I donāt specificly care for but OK - BUT have run a lot that are very good genesā Ethos is only one of many breeders offering deals like the like time one for $1,000 many have their boxes that run just as much or more (they box up all strain that have a specific strain (base strain) with 10 hybrids all different for $1.000 or more ā hate to say this "āMoney is the driving forceā $600.00 is alot to spend for me (hoope they all germinate at that price - what was the strain ? )

I was being entirely sarcastic about the 600 bucks a strain, sorry to say it but 500 bucks for 6 (or was it 8?) seeds is not just exorbitant, itās retarded. I mean, what, does the plant grow krugerrand coins? Itās pot, not magic.
But thatās just how I feel about people paying money to buy virtual money to then buy a virtual soccer moment from a famous soccer player, or an artsy picture of a kangaroo carrying a tarantula. Itās just too friggin crazy to hold any water. Itās actually devaluating money at that point. Although for the kangaroo picture you could argue for value if itās going to be used as mascotte or game character or whatever people could come up with. But I think you get my point?

Between abusing women and animals and chucking with herm pollen under that laughable brand name, I have no idea why anyone is still buying or growing that dudeās gear. Matt Riot might be a jerk, but nobodyās saying that heās physically violent towards innocent people and animals.

Or maybe we should keep the grow site about growing and keep the politics of people out of it. While I get folks want to spread the word I am not sure how I feel about OG having a bunch of hate threads directed at different breeders. Than again, I am just one guy here so I will shut up now and go back to lurking.
