yah i can… i lived on a property for about a year that was bought with maui wowie money in the 70s its supposed to be the blood which is a 100 percent Filipino… its an amazing sativa absolutely covered in frost when done right. and when taking clones it will have red sap. there are blood strains around but very very very rarely do you find any that sap red still. Next they went to india to find a indica and to smuggle hash. they accomplished both came back with a Himalayan indica landrace. At the time they were calling it hindu kush. not to get mixed up with hindu kush of today… and legalcanada is right the strains were names to location… there was kauai electric, kona gold, molokai frost, maui wowie all different names for different islands… basically they called all good weed from maui… maui wowie, but there was a group of guys that gained the reputation for maui with the above mentioned strain.

So it borned like an sativa/indica híbrido, isent it? N then, Was it growed n reproduced outdoor durin enought time & with the enougth number of plants like to call it like a landrace?

Btw, the importance of Filipinas n the Manila-Acapulco -Veracruz-Canarias-Sevilla rute, in the American cannabis history, isent knowed enought, but the he cannabis genetics that the Spaniards found and collected in the Philippines is the main difference between the Hispano-American, to the Brazilian or Black Africa landraces, I think …

no its not a landrace just a strain they kept close to home and they were not about sharing it… the guy i rented from calls it lilikoi now… because he grows a personal patch of it in a lilikoi vine but hes the only person i know that has seeds that can actually be traced back… not saying that there arent others, but if there are ill bet you they are not ever going to share it

N it look a “wild hibrid” between domestic pig & hog, isent it?
Hey, @Muleskinner: we are here huntin hogs only with a big knife n two Podencos dogs to search the hog , n 4-6 Spanish Alanos or Argentinian Dogos to caught it, since all the life. We only can do it durin the FullMoon nights…

If you had ever grown Maui Wowie you would know she is a old school HAWAIIAN SATIVA!

There is no indica in her heritage.

We also have Hawaiian Blood and it is a completely different strain.

If you actually grow the plant you will learn mo than sitting around listening to gossip.

Try learn before you speak.

like i said dude your a fraud im off to work good luck buddy… and its called The Blood. everyone who knows weed in hawaii knows that. its not hawaiian its from the Philippines.

We have had enough of your empty opinion cuz.

You have never had dealings with our 'Ohana (Family) and you have never grown Hawaiian.

All you do is gossip and spread misinformation.

We call people like you trolls.

Believe me you are not making the world a mo betta place with your sucka story:

“I know the only guy who still has Maui Wowie on Earth and not calls it lilikoi he won’t share it”

Please give us all a break.

Your ignorance of this subject is mindboggling.

Try learn before you make anyone else upset and get in deeper.

Aloha @MiG!

Maui Wowie is a old school Hawaiian SATIVA strain cultivated out in Hana for Hanauna (Generations) long before she received her famous marijuana moniker.

HAWAIIAN 'Ohana have kept her preserved and shared her with visitors from all around the globe.

Maui Wowie became popular because of the free love movement that encouraged sharing.

Had it not been for Bradda Joseph bringing the community together at his legendary solstice celebrations the world may never have known the humble Hawaiian landrace sativa we lovingly refer to as Maui Wowie.

If you would like to know mo about Bradda Joseph’s Solstice Celebration and the history of Hawaiian medicine we invite you to check out our Mana’o (knowledge) page @:

Feel free to ask questions here or via our social media profiles and email and one of our genetic specialists will be happy to assist you.

Mahalo = Thank you

Aloha a hui hou
