Purple blotches on outdoor plants

Sounds like a reasonable amount of lime was added. How are they looking? In full.flower now?
Sounds like you can make a teepee off your shed for protection. The shed wall, if in the sun during the day, will act as a heater.
You can add pelletized lime to the soil anytime, outdoors I add the powdered stuff in the springtime before the rains at least a month before planting. You can even put it on top of the snow and when the snow melts it will get in the soil, but I add it when the beds are turned over About a pound per 100 square feet will raise the ph one full point if I recall correctly and that is the amount I added to my soil. Bone meal is another great addition for long-term slow release calcium and phosphorus.

Yeo ! @Upstate
Some r flowering pretty well and then Some are slowly forming buds … one of them still has a lot of purple on it idk if they r still stretching🤔I can feel little buds in the center of the leafs and also i see they r wanting to form just seem slowwwww…I have not added the cavern culture yet but almost tempted to !

Good amount of calcium and phosphorus

The last time I checked my ph it was around 7 after the hydrated lime application …I deff plan on trying to amend this area for next year …first year at the property …horse ,goat, chicken, rabbit compost …with wood chips from the chickens🤪sound familiar not directly planted into them but deff close enough to leach the soil ?
I think the monsters roots grew right under and over to get under the horse shelter !
For the most part they grew great in it …

I have rolls upon rolls of poly only thing is pitch of roof will dump on plants when heavy rain so I might start from the high side of shed fasten it and then from there bring it down out the back past the plants and plan to have one side lower for runoff …a thought anyway

I will try and get more pics when the rain settles

I have a plant with the purple going on. This one is in a container Heavily amended with my soil from my newest garden bed that has had no lime added…just the horse manure/ straw/woodchip compost. Seems to take a couple years to fully balance my beds nutrients. Year one, lots of purple, delayed flowering. Year 2 there may be a brief bit of purple With normal but slightly delayed flowering. Year 3 no purple at all or only a couple buds. I didn’t try to correct my soil in one year. Figured it would take a few. Glad to hear some are flowering well. Fingers crossed for the others.

Update : a handful of hydrated lime and a couple cups of cavern culture per plant did most of them justice …seem to be about Halloween these ladies will be coming down …hopefully the mold stays at bay …beautiful weather to finish .

Although they look good from a distance I still have some concern about the leafs …they seem to be dying off quickly from the tip down into the nuggets …potential mold threat !

I know the leafs r trying to tell me something but I’m thinking This late in the game the purpling is due to the weather the strain is called purple mendo wreck by @TestOfOath
They have deff kicked it into gear and are hitting the highway !

The mendowreck was from @BIGJ brother, I was just the middleman! No bugs or anything on the plants? Seems like something is pissing it off for sure.

Looking like you’ll have a nice harvest, my greenhouse is gonna be going about that same length of time and I’m hoping for the best like you

Looks like you’ll get a harvest in the end. Leaves are sure funky, but bud is bud. Looks like the plants barely pulled out of the lockout. But they did  keep me posted. Curious if the leaves improve or not by harvest. Hope the weather holds for you!.

Purple Mendo wreck from humboldt, Mendocino purps x trainwreck, the are f1’s . Put down 6 originally, picked the best 2 reverse one with colloidal silver and pollenated the other chosen one , being f1’s I’ve seen some wild phenos, I have one outside that does not seem as happy as the rest of the plants. I’ve popped a couple indoors and had pretty good luck. Hopefully it turns out good for you. I need to take to f2-f3 stabilize them a bit , any other questions tag my my friend I will answer to the best of my ability :+1::+1::v:

You’ll have to save the stalk and hang it like deer antlers. I have a few on the wall of my barn lol. Nice one.
True story here…out in Cali in 2017 I found myself alone( with mushrooms) in a house with hundreds of pounds of pot sealed up. Late at night during a hard tripping episode i heard the dogs barking. The trimmers ( we didn’t know this yet)had just swiped over 10 lbs and my cousin warned me of someone trying to steal more. As i walked in the dark towards that barking, i grabbed the only weapon i could find. A knarley pot stalk that was bigger than any Louisville slugger ever made😁
When i realized there were no intruders i glanced down at my weapon of weed and began to crack up. I envisioned a newspaper article titled " Intruder bludgeoned with Cannabis stalk":joy::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Dzmn 21 days since an update … @Upstate
I got a new fone …my muscle memory bone is having a hard time converting to Samsung
And the camera socks…

Well I got a harvest the fan leafs really never seemed to improve in appearance but the rate of growth did not dissipate…also due to the necrotic leafs I encountered SOME mold but harvesting the 27th in this region isn’t to bad lol I also have one still outside shes probably coming down this weekend

I’m prolly gonna keep growing them there for years to come I’m gonna looks back and see what you recommend to increase the potential of the soil for next year!
