Kine bud #5

This plant had an amazing rot resistance in the hoop even with a hole in the plastic directly above it. I preferred the look of the buds of #5 compared to #2 which was right next to her. Had way more rot and stem blight resistance than #2. She checked a lot of boxes for hoop production. Grew a little on the lanky side, and didn’t take the best to bending stems. I have backed up both #2 and #5 if anyone is interested.

Looking amazing especially if she’s rot resistant!

You getting any similarities between the garlic dog and the hp13 seeds that you started?

I can definitely see it now that I grew both the hp13 bc and garlic dog together. Seems like last years group of two garlic dogs were leaning more onto the hp13 side. While this year I ran a bigger population and have more variance from this years harvest. Granted the two seasons couldn’t of been more opposite of each other. Last year was hot and an amazing year with late frosts while this year with all the haze and septoria and rain was not ideal at all and one of the worst years I have ever had!

That being said I had some serious garlic onion smelling plants last year that had the bud structure that leaned more towards the hp13 side, but with a little more density. Smoke was not a garlic onion taste though more sweet creamy. I made very small amounts of seed from them.

This year I had a few hp13 leaners, 1 dog leaner, and 1 that was further on the pnwhp/nl1 side. I have 2 of the cuts make it this year. #8 the dog dom and #7 a hp13 pheno. Hopefully some seeds made it from this year to be able to pool last year seed for a population to really hunt through.

Here are the Black Domina #7 glam shots you requested @Emeraldgreen & @firehead !

This was from the 2nd cut I took off of her. I always harvest in stages allowing a couple more weeks for the lowers to bulk up

I’m fixing to smoke this nug then make some dinner
