Question: Is this coloring a deficiency of some sort or a natural color change thing?

We just came out of winter here I was having times down late 40s I work in c so think that comes in around 11-12c

Wondering if I should chop rather than risking budrot, plants are fully exposed to all weather conditions.
Lost a few good size branches today in gusty winds and theres a few dirtbuds as a result.

That’s a hard one they look like they want longer but you may want to pull I’m not exactly sure about the weather humidity and all that stuff on that side of the world so I’d wait for someone else’s opinion too
