Ready to harvest? Post your pics and get advice 🌸

Oooh, this seems to be where I usually screw up. I will definitely be paying attention here.

I got a problem… I got a couple going when looking through my loop im not sure if they are getting cloudy or just too blanketed in trichs… Anybody else have to deal with this bullshit :joy:

Yea I was going to give them another week or so. In the past I went purely by cloudy:amber ratio, going by hairs when they keep pushing out new growth… guess that just means it’s not done yet. I should prob start feeding them a bit…

Well, it looks like many of my hairs did just turn brown, but those also started to degrade… that was apparently the first sign that bud rot was spreading. Almost like those little hairs grabbed the spores like it was pollen and brought it into the bud. I just tossed that whole batch

You had bud rot? Bummer! I didn’t notice it in the pic. I lost a lot this year to it as well. Sorry to hear that

Sorry for your loss.
When your plants are in the last couple of weeks before harvest, it is imperative that you carefully scrutinize all of your colas each and every day. In doing this, you will be able to notice the very slightest sign of encroaching bud blight. Any leaf that grows out of a cola that appears to be withered or shriveling, or the slightest bit droopy, give it a gentle pull… if it comes out without much resistance, you have botrytis eating away at your nice flowers. Immediately use a pair of sterile scissors to cut away all of the bud that is near the infected area. After removing the afflicted bud, spray the adjacent remaining healthy flowers with some H2O2, This will hopefully slow down the spread of the insidious bud blight , enabling you to enjoy some disease free yummy flowers and avoid the total, heartbreaking loss of your entire crop.

It’s really early, but I have white fuzzy growth on parts, some yellowing leaves on others. The pic is hard to see, but those hairs aren’t the normal brown and dried hairs. I noticed a difference when I looked really close. The hairs were even more shriveled, and more of a gray brown and not the red brown of healthy hairs. So the hairs themselves were the first outward sign in my case, then I saw some of the little leaves on a cola look like they were burnt…

As an outside grower. I’d chop it, wash in peroxide then cut out any rot and salvage. But that’s just me

At least give it a good perox wash and then make butter.

Here’s a couple for you guys. I had some major issues this grow, but most of the plants are putting on some nice looking buds.
The cheese #1 from Kaliman decided to look like crap the entire time

They look close but hard to say without a good close up of the trichs.

I try and try to get good shots of the trichs. Honestly, it looks like they are going straight from clear to amber. Is that possible?
I’ll try to get a better look tomorrow.
