This is one of my favorites
Started putting my new winch in, snapped a bolt.
I went cordless you have to be careful. Hopefully you can get it out there aināt nothing worse than the world Iām breaking a bolt
Damn, thatās annoying. Iāve got a few things I plan on doing when I have time. Changing some pulleysā¦
I got too many projects myself. I have a few vehicles I need to finish up.
Sometimes if you can get to the backside put a vice grip on it or something. I have welded another bolt to something to get it out. Do a little tack weld on each side. Make sure you unhook your battery. Welding on your vehicle with your battery hooked up will call spark knock between your valves and your pistons sometimes. Could blow your bags to. Sometimes itāll put little burn marks on your lifters. Could be the cars Iāve worked on.
Nice trick
It works on some things. I learned it years ago. The V/8 motors. I donāt know how many bolts are broken trying to change the thermostat or water pump on those older cars when I was a kid. Lol I miss it sometimes. I definitely would love doing the jeep thing
Itās a mounting bolt, just a nut insert on the other side. I just have to take the other three bolts off to get the nut insert out.
man what are you doing with 7 jeeps???
damn straight, iāll keep my YJ till i die!!
that being said i just got a new computer in because mine was having issuesā¦ swapping that and replacing front calipers disks and pads are on this weekends agenda. for some reason they are soft and mushy so i might as well just start new. if that doesnt do it then i guess a new BMC is nextā¦ good times.

I have a friend with a TJ with a 350 and geared just right. Punch it and that thing DOES do wheelies. Its fun crawling thru the woods and seeing him just lift the front end up with a touch of the skinny pedal.
Change the motor mounts and it bolts right in. I put a 96 4.0 from a cherokee in my 89 wrangler. āFive Wire to Fireā method (google it) helped immensely! Get the computer, harness (if you get the AW4 transmission too get the transmission computer) and its EASY (I am no electrical guru and mine fired up first try)
Right on, sure will be fun someday.
Almost bought a suburban with a 5.3 LS and 14 bolt in the rear for 1800. In the end I decided against it.
That is a big ride. Happy 4th be safe.
TPS sensor went out on me. I think I have another one in my spare parts box.
Not to hard to find.
yeah, I bet @ReikoX is hell of a lot more tidy than some of us-- my spare stuff may take a while to even find.
The one I had was old, so I bought a new one. Unfortunately I came down with COVID before installing itā¦
