@GramTorino For a second when you said CO2 I thought you were telling him to run the bubble hash through CO2 lol

Than I read the rest and remembered about @ReikoX updating that he installed the CO2 with pics last night. Really nicely done by the way man, hope you kill it with the yield (not only for the added CO2 in the grow, but when you press the bubble too)

How do you plan on doing the pressing?

Iā€™ll double bag it an 37 micron and a 120 micron bag and press it at 170Ā°F. :+1::seedling:

170? Is that the temp you use just for hash, or do you press everything that low? Iā€™ve been pressing at ā€œ210ā€ (I put that in quotes because I donā€™t know how accurate the plate readings actually are) and Iā€™m getting decent returns, but I feel like somethingā€™s missing. No matter what I press, it all kind of tastes the same. I feel like Iā€™m doing something wrong haha.

I usually press flower between 185-195Ā°F some varieties wonā€™t yield well at 185Ā°F, so Iā€™ll up the temp. However, the higher the temp the more sappy and darker the rosin ends up.

Yeah, thatā€™s why Iā€™ve been pressing at 210 lately. I started at 195 when I first got my press, but I got really shitty results. Coulda just been the strains I was pressing then, I dunno. Anyway, good to know. I think Iā€™ll lower the temps some. And maybe press for a little longer? I usually do two minutes. Does that sound about right?

We smashed it at 65C/150F, it didnā€™t take much to melt down the freeze dried hash! Ahem, Jesus was all about the ā€œterps in my brain, man!!!ā€

Single source Cherry Tart hash rosin. Grown and processed by me.

This particular press was 8g of 45u-159u ā€œfreeze driedā€ hash (1st through 3rd pulls), double bagged first in a Rosin Evolution 25u bag, then a 160u 2"x3" bag. Pressed at 78Ā°C on my DIY press for about 3 minutes between parchment by Black Label Paper Co.
