ReikoX's Workshop

The Juanita la Lagrimosa in the storage cabinet is green, healthy, happy, and starting to fill in the screen. After adding the worm castings the cover crop took off, so I have been mowing the lawn pretty often.

I keep forgetting to snap a picture of the Creme Brulee, so you are stuck with a webcam pic. They are starting to take off. I don’t normally top, but I’m going to with these on @LED_Seedz recommendation. I’ll top at the 7th node and clean up the bottom two nodes before flipping to flower.

I got my reef cycler by Dirk Diggler Glass a whole two days early. I’m still breaking it in, but I’m digging it so far. I ordered up a new dabber to go with it, it’s King Titans trident.

Here is a little closer look at the coral.

The workshop has been pretty much on auto pilot. The Creme Brulee by @LED_Seedz are all ready to flip I took them out, topped them at the 7th node, and took the bottom two nodes for clones. While trimming them, I was able to identify four males, one female, and three aren’t showing either way yet. I haven’t culled the males just yet.

I got a good four clones from each plant. The males are on the left, the female and unknown are on the right. I’ll let them sit in the cups for a few days before putting the females into the cloner.

The schedule has been changed to 12/12. In about a week, I’ll move them to the other side to flower out and move the Diamonds and Pearls in this side. It tends to run hotter, so I like to run it as the veg side when possible.

Hey @Mr.Sparkle I got your sticker today. Oh, I guess there were seeds too.

@FredFlinstoner, @Tinytuttle, and @Artisan, here is Juanita filling out the screen. It’s been about five weeks since she was first transplanted into the bed. I hope to give her about one more week then flip. She should fill the screen and then some by the time she is done stretching.

Great little setup there mate, not unlike mine as in size area…so you have a garden bed there with straw to keep in the moisture?

The cabinet is about 2’x3’ and the no-till bed is 14"x30" holds about 15-gallons of soil. The cover is a combination of clever, leaves, stems and rice hulls.

Did a bit of cleaning now that the Grass Monkies are done.

Moved over the Creme Brulee. Two confirmed females and two not males in there.

Here are the four confirmed males, they were destroyed.

These Creme Brulee are now all confirmed females at 9 days flowering. My interpretation of topping at the seventh node was different than what PJ does. I went up seven nodes, then topped above that. PJ goes to the seventh node a d cuts.below that. Then I cleared out the bottom two nodes leaving me with five instead of four nodes. Either way, they are branching out as advertised.

Speaking of lower branches, these are the clones of the females. These sat in a cup of water for about a week before I got around to putting them in the cloner. Yes, you can use LITFa to clone too! They all seem happy and healthy. Normal cloning routine: RO water, 20 ml Clonex, 10 ml ResClear, 400 PPM, pH 6.

Hahahaha Awesome I’ve never done clones but you inspired me to try. I picked up some LITFA just the other day so I should be ready

Loving the thread man and like how you have all different spaces I need to break up my closet some so I’m not just stuck veg/flowering in the same space makes harvesting longer

The Creme Brulee at 15 days. I’m digging this training method. I will probably do it again with the Diamonds and Pearls. Next time I may go one node shorter.

Speaking of the Creme Brulee, do you remember those clones I let sit in water for a week? Well a week in the cloner and they all have roots.

Juanita has filled more than half the screen. I will likely trim up the bottom and flip to flower this weekend.

Yes, these were topped above the seventh node and the bottom two nodes were removed for clones right before flipping to flower. This left me with five nodes and 10 branches on each plant to work with. I may end up pulling down some of the taller branches if the stretch doesn’t stop soon.
