Reveg Questions

Been working on my first re-veg for a little over three months. Popped a dispo bagseed that turned out way better than I expected it to. She seems to be a little hormonal still. Some branches are still throwing preflowers and odd pistils still. First attempts at clones were a bit too early, they rooted but threw pistils and fugly buds as they did so. Second attempts at rooting are looking way better but my question is will they show pre flower maturity forever even in the clones? Or is this just a sign of instability. Is it poor practice to reflower a reveg after you get a successful clone to replace it as a mother?

Pictures are actually more flattering then she is, ugly duckling scenario. I hacked her frame up pretty good at harvest. Looks like a kindergartener took a shot at bonsai. Shes absolutely devasting night time smoke. Consistently kicks my dick in the dirt and puts me to sleep.

Reveg is great, but I see wayyy to much plant matter here.

I would hack it down even furthers. I believe the plant is attempting to keep itself alive and in flower because you basically just harvested the top and left the bottom half to mature in this scenario.

Especially if it’s been 3 months? Since you began the 24 hour period again.

However, I do see 3 leaf fans at the bottom , so I would hack it down till you get to that level of growth, that’s where the reveg is occurring.

I’m sure you will get some more opinions shortly as well. Good luck, glad you found some killer smoke!

Theses were started 7-13 and most of them are already reversed and already rooted.
The last time I tried to reverse some, like you 2 months later and they weren’t doing anything. Some barely had roots and some didn’t have any at all.

While most plants can just truck through a reveg, some can be very picky. Any stress will keep those in an in-between state. I have a few like that, I always make sure they’re not root bound and I don’t ever water them heavy…

Once they throw 3 fingers leaves I put them under stronger lights.

Taking clones from half veg plants isn’t suggested, it’s preferable to wait for healthy tips. Still can be done… just be mindful they can be stunted…

from my experience the more plant you can leave after harvest the better a chance u have at revegging it. I’d lean towards you being root bound.

She was definitely a little root bound when I transplanted her to a 5 gallon last week. I’m going to give her another week or two to adjust before I hack anything else off her. If she still has funky growth by then Ill consider cutting her way back. Thanks for the advice.

And the avatar is from a salvia droid piece called overclocked cortex.

Has she been under 24 hour lights that whole time? Some plants seem to need the full 24 more than others. Its always faster on 24 too.

Reveg is a great way to save a strain you weren’t sure you wanted to keep at 1st…
Or if (god forbid) you lose a mom or clones…
Not something I do on a regular basis-- but have done many times!!
I like that I can get more clones-- then reflower it… a low yield, but holds ya over until the clones mature!
