Rocket Seeds and Crop King seeds apparently selling counterfeit product

It really is… @moderators are gonna get on this currently… @CoastalMarySeeds is a reputable user and sponsor of this site… also Canada based. There’s immense proof of that… so that one comment is trash and obvious lie in that aspect

No worries, I’m all for calling out when deserved but I have no tolerance of disinformation such as this…if one is going to go this far, i would expect the information to be correct and not just posted willy nilly. Smh

The info in the post is wrong. Brendan Kennedy does not own cop king/rocket seeds etc.
I know who does and the owner is indeed based in Vancouver.
I know who owns farmers lab seeds (don’t know his full name) and he and cropking hate each other.

So much info is wrong. Just strange all over.

I would agree with that. We have so few good seed banks here in Canada comparted to other places. When I made this thread originally it was to call out a scam that Blimburn seeds had listed on their site regarding Crop King and Rocket seeds. I feel for you @CoastalMarySeeds , this is one of the problems with the internet and false information being spread rampantly. I would hope this fellow would edit his reviews and apologize. Seems only right. Surely he could put the same energy into correcting his false statements as he did spreading them in the first place. I would hate to see this wrong information hurting your business that you all worked so hard to build.

I just caught this thread… Crap King LOL
For years now I have been telling my friends who dabble in growing but don’t participate in online forums to steer clear of these guys. They don’t listen and they grow out god knows what and then complain that maybe growing is not for them because the results weren’t worth the efforts. I try and steer them in the right directions but they still buy stuff from instagram or from various unvetted sources and they just won’t listen. So I lay some seeds on them and they finally get what I was saying all along.

Now this Mary Jane’s Garden thing… many years ago there was a small group that held clones and called themselves Mary Jane’s Garden. I think one of the women involved was making hemp based soaps and things before it became a wider spread thing. I knew some of these folks and oddly enough was passed the Tilray Black Tuna cut by one of them. The thing is, these aren’t the people using the Mary Jane’s Garden online and I would definately see them as scammers if they were. Like Old School Bah and his use of the Old School Breeders Association and Reeferman brand names after pirating them and making seeds from original packs from these two sources. Charles Scott has posted a great deal on that.
It’s interesting to me how so many of these lowlife’s are sneakin around using or “re-using” the names of formerly legit groups.

Never dealt with @CoastalMarySeeds but I have only heard good things and nothing related to what I have mentioned above. Mary Jane’s Garden and the Old School Breeders Association were real and legit groups until scammers made it impossible for them to operate in the open.

I have a feeling there is more to it possibly…ive edited my post again with yet another screenshot. The more I dig the more I find. And this user isn’t addressing this…

Ok, it seems they are beginning to edit Coastal Mary out of the online reviews so this is positive. @BossRoss

Head shops in VA (like “Higher Education”) sell these trinkets with seeds inside for $60-70, and each has 3 crop king junk seeds inside  Oh & next to it another “seed company” that’s also Crop King. Pretending to offer variety with shell companies… smfh.

Fortunately grow shops have real seeds now but newbz are still getting fleeced by those a-holes at headshops. Millions of dollars a year no doubt flushed down a toilet. The guys got a real lucrative empire doing business with all the shady heads shops & rip off websites.

Glad I got it as a freebie lesson well learned and I got my trade that turned out stellar. The OGer had more integrity than the Bean Magicians did. They suck and they smoke midz

Awesome! Thanks for the seedbank recommendation. I would love to support members of this forum. What strain would you recommend?

Strain/Variety-wise, I recommend your peruse the various Threads. MANY Breeder-Members abound. It pretty much depends on what you prioritize in your Cannabis. I’m, personally biased toward my friend, @SamwellBB’s BAKED BEANZ Offerings, but you can’t go wrong with DOZENS of OG’ers work, rivalling ANYTHING produced by the Big Commercial Seed Slingers!! Plus, here you can communicate DIRECTLY with the Breeder, potentially score some Pollen to experiment in your own seed-making…WIN-WIN!! SS/BW…mister :honeybee: :100:  :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Hehe.

I grew a couple crop king back in the day. NL auto and a Candy cane auto.

NL auto was massive, not bad smoke.

The Candy cane auto was pretty damn good. Loudest/tastiest lemon terp plant I ever smoked.

I have no idea if genetics are legit, but the NL seemed to be.

Got some pics somewhere.

Edit: looking at the Candy cane auto and their terp/flavour descriptions, don’t match at all with the straight up lemon I got.

Their site and branding just look suspicious to me. I never ordered from them, but I have been burned once by another company and that’s made me extremely cautious.

Brandon Ross here is making false accusations about many seed companies.

  1. These seed companies are not owned by a Brandon Kennedy. He made this up. And if they are true he has failed to show proof of this on many other forums.

  2. Some of these companies are owned by one person and some are owned by many other companies. Some are located in the US and some are located in Canada. But none are located in Newport California and none are owned by any Brandon Kennedy. These are false claims and he has made the same claim to many other forums.

  3. As we can see Coastal Mary Seeds is a reputable company along with many others asking for their name to be removed from Brandon Ross’s keyboard. We at The Seed Fair are also saying the same thing. The Seed Fair is located in Canada and certainly not owned by some person named Brandon Kennedy.

All proof can be given here for all to see very easily. Brandon Ross where is your fake proof? We are now working to have you banned from many forums as you keep spreading false information.

Seed Fair? As a Canadian I am not sure who you are? What are you trying to accomplish here?

Looks like another crop king clone, they have over 1000 varieties for sale

Where is this proof, I can’t see it. :face_with_monocle:

Once Crop King has your email they will spam you with at least three other seed companies that they have. It’s all fake ass bullshit and should be avoided. Fancy packaging, selling under different names and nothing is what it’s supposed to be. It’s either completely different random seeds or watered down useless garbage. I was scammed looking for things that were too good to be true. So buyers beware with Crap King seeds!
