Going to be running autos for the first time at the start of '24, in RDWC, most likely including some Scarlet Grapes. Gonna try to hit a fast turn around after this photo run. Definitely in for watching this one if thereā€™s a spot in the corner for me.
Thanks for tossing up the diary, @AppalachianBiscuits , and putting the work in the run!
Best luck and a great harvest to you, friend. Damn glad to cross paths.
Stay up!

That would be perfect.
On a heat mat (if itā€™s not warm in your house) and the upside down cup to block light too.

My system is getting an upgrade to rdwc this weekend. I look forward to following along with your grapes too!

They should pop in the rapid rooster if theyā€™re gonna have a drip. Just donā€™t put em to deep.

I had many talks with myself about germinating in the cube, and I canā€™t seem to figure it out. It must be that I donā€™t have a drip. I canā€™t figure out drip hydro. I get clogs and floods. Ive tried a short soak then in the cube bottom watered. Iā€™ve tried right in the cube. I learn more about this plant everyday. After these Iā€™m going to do a photo reg run and itā€™s time I try popping in the cube again.

This is how I built mine.

I canā€™t stop thinking about this. I was even telling my spouse about it.
Do you cover them? Or just lay the seed in the punch out? Or actually push them into the cube?

I put the tip down, with the back of the seed very visible(maybe an eighth of an inch below) in the top of the rapid rooter.
I would have the recirculation tube closer to the bottom of the cube, as to have it only wicking and moist.

Plants! They are looking real nice, the one on the right was the seed I didnā€™t think would sprout.

Iā€™m updating my dwc to rdwc. They will be in there big bucket when I see roots, which will be soon

Iā€™m trying something stupid and itā€™s going to cause me a flood.:joy: Thatā€™s the bottom line of it. Iā€™ll just work on it outside of tent and buy another $5 bucket

Checking in, right on the verge of flower. The seed I wasnā€™t sure if it would pop looks about a week behind the other.

The little guys are WMBK.
