3x3. I want a bigger tent real bad, but itās not in the cards for a while. I am going to try my hand outside this spring
Not grapes. Iām not sure what this was. It may have been a Kasmir x wifi clone from the seed making experiment extravaganza. Itās the only jar that made it out of my last harvest that all got the mold. It looks A+ and smokes real nice
Manifold training for the WMBK. I hope itās not too early. And I still donāt know whoās dudes.
The grapes are working their way to flower!
I got maxibloom in yesterday. I still have quite a bit of Jacks left but Iām just not feeling it. Iām trying to decide if I want to switch nutes mid grow or not.
The husband was talking about a 2x4 tent yesterday. So basically, Iām going to start looking and putting together my thoughts on what I want.
I did want to switch nutes mid grow. I also put a new tent in my cart and got these wet. Iāve got an idea I want to try.
Whatās your idea? Where you headed to? Hell yeah on the Chernobyl. Havenāt smoked it but Iāve read good things!
Iāve also got some grapes above ground a few days ago. Iāll be checking in on what you do with them!
Iām going to try tiny plants. Flip them at 3 or 4 weeks. Iām going to put 4 plants per bucket. When the grapes are done here in 5 weeks and the WMBK are trained up Iāll harvest the grapes and flip everybody to flower.
My only concern is the Chernobyl males that I cull will have roots in with the females and I donāt want to damage anything. Iāll keep an eye on it and see what I think
Iāve had fine results with autoflowers throwing 3-5 in a 7g together & once they show sex then after a good watering scooping out the males with about a solo cup worth of soil & replanting in a 1 gallon or together in a larger pot. Its pretty awful for the boys, Iām guessing 80% root loss, but they still make pollen. The girls donāt seem to notice the small amount of root damage.
It did end badly once when all 5 in one pot turned out to be girls, and wouldnāt stop growing even though the pot was small but I suspect they were someoneās labeling error and perhaps were feminized fast photoperiods instead of regular autoflowers. It was pretty ridiculous.
If you havenāt already seen @BIGJ journal check him out. Heās growing Scarlet Grapes too, but I think one of us is growing the mail mans kid.
Big girl is getting frosty already!
Lol! Had to take a look. Was awesome and amazing to find you both are in hydro the same.
Iāve definitely seen wide variance in plants, youāre right its odd to see two go each way, but not too much so. But if you repeat it a couple more times Iāll be wondering whatās up.
If you want to play around some, depending on how close to the edge of the optimum range you are, you could try lower light and / or higher humidity / warmer temps / gentler air flow. All those generally promote wider softer leaves. If thereās any room to up your N, your leaves look a little yellow to me, but that could just be the mailman genes or the lighting.
Thanks for sharing, I always enjoy a good puzzle story in the morning
Itās the light, rather itās my phone in the light. It doesnāt like the reflections from the tent walls and photographs yellow.
Iām in the āoptimum rangeā. BUT Im very interested in your perspective and options. I donāt control for much, honestly. When they are in flower and sweaty Iāll turn on the exhaust. At night Iāll turn it off so they donāt get cold when the light goes out.
I wish I knew more about lights. I am always confused by distance and intensity. Im just running them the distance and intensity that seems right.
They are in Maxibloom right now (5-15-14) but they were grown to this point in Jacks (15-5-20). Iām back to the maxibloom as the Jacks and I fight about pH.
Iām not going to say I donāt control for temp/ humidity etc. but I donāt. My home isnāt strictly climate controlled, so the tent does get āvarietyā. Iāll do my best to keep it from being too cold, or hot and humid, but thatās it.
My problem is, Iām an outside hillbilly vegetable gardener. I will throw a whole tomato in a pile of leaves sometime this spring and have all the tomatoes I could want. The last 2 years we had plants grow in the gravel driveway. Like ādonāt hit the broccoli pullinā inā kind of in the way.
Iām interested in learning and trying something new, but Iām not interested in fussing.
Iāve got one of scarlett grapes from @blowdout2269 in Dwc. I use gh nutes. Nothing special. Temps stay around 66-76f. Nothing being done about the water temp.
I have the aero lights from VIVOSUN. One of the 200 hundred and a 100 watt light in there. Gentile breeze going.
We just started flowering this morning.
Hey me too- SG from @blowdout2269 going, and just started showing pistils yesterdayish
Except im growing it in a necessarily complicated way, and she dont give a hoot at All as far as i can tell. Getting 500ppm of jacks 20-20-20 and 1g per gallon epsom and gypsum rn. Should i be switching to bloom nutes now, or soon, does (anybody) think? (Shes on the right in the octopup, growin sidelike )
Iām using general hydroponics nutes also. Been for a few years and canāt complain, next few days scarlet and the other ladies will get a much needed lightening upgrade which should kick them into overdrive
What lights are you getting!
Whatever youāre doing in that fridge Iām interested.
I noticed this while scrolling through @Not-Notjosh post. Just a thumbing past and hold up. This man got this plant growing sideways out of a fabric pot!!! This is amazing!!!
I bought a medic grow spectrum x 880 watt that Iāve had about a month or so. And I just purchased the medic grow fold 8. 720 watt full spectrum I caught both on sale. Iāve been running phlizon lights full spectrum older 281b leds. The medic grows have osram and Samsung 301h LEDs. Better lights. Iāve seen noticeable difference since I got the first one
So excited to see how you hydro Guys do your thing.
