Iā€™ve been going out daily before the fans and swamp cooler kicks on and shaking the male all over the ladies for the last week or so and each time Ive seen a wonderful cloud of dust so these bitches better be Prego with lots of babies for the OGā€™ers, as long as they donā€™t start reveg being so close to spring solstice the beans should be abundant

Youā€™ll get a shitload of beans out of those donkey dicks mate. If youā€™re worried about reveg could you use light dep, maybe cover the clear panels?

That could work if thatā€™s all I had out there, got some auto teens and a shit ton of veggies out there too, not to easy to isolate darkness for an hour a day, just :crossed_fingers:

Got any peppers going in there? Idk why, I like growing peppers and tomatoes though I donā€™t really eat much of either of them. My other plants are berries, several types of blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries, all in containers

Haha they are front row, bell peppers closest to me and white Thai closer to the white rhinos lol

Rocking some beans, peas, corn, tomatoā€™s, tomatillos, eggplant, salad greens, and just getting some herbs and more pepper varieties started

I never have luck with blueberries unfortunately. I might have some cuttings of a wild raspberry I can send out to you this year if you want.

Nice! I have some white Thai seeds that Iā€™ve been intending to start, along with KS lemon starburst. I have Just over a dozen different varieties in seeds that Iā€™ve wanted to growā€¦ we all know how that goes :joy:

Those white Thai seeds Iā€™ve been popping been finicky and not super vigorous, Iā€™m blaming the cold though, peppers love the heat and this cold spell lately been messing with things

Yeah I have an entire forest of wild raspberry bushes. Literally they are almost taking over my back yard property line and they certainly took over several acre of woods further back.
Berries thou I can never get to grow well.
So I can take cuttings and send the out this year if anyone is interested.

Iā€™ve collected and saved one wild growing raspberry, the rest are all gold and purple varieties. I love the fall gold raspberries. I bought several dwarf blueberries by Bushel and berries, going on third season with my first one, several others I got last year so I hope to have something to taste from them this year.

berries need well drained soil, I mix roughly 1:2 perlite:soil. Blueberry are planted in 1:2 perlite (or pine batch chips) and peat. Also, black/raspberries are best done through root stock/sections dug up when dormant, or a whole sucker plant dug up. Not saying cuttings wonā€™t work, but not the best option.

Ive never seem not heard of a Fall Gold raspberryā€¦that sounds gorgeous :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

They ones I have around are actually called
Wineberry (Rubus phoenicolasius)
They were introduced here in late 1800s to use as breeding stock for Raspberries. And now they are everywhere haha
Iv always called them raspberry since I was younger thou.

And tthe more uncommon, bbut one I can still find some for anyone
Black raspberry (Rubus occidentalis)

Il bring it up again come the spring

Just would slow growth down, got some autos on the loft already naturally running about 12 hrs, cutting those back anymore and there would just be no yield lol

Oh good to know. I always just stuck cuttings in the earth. I literally hacked like 20 of them down last year to make room, but the few parts i didnt clean off the ground took root in the soil. They are survivors :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Gold raspberries are less acidic, so they taste sweeter. The skins are also very soft so they donā€™t store long and canā€™t be transported. So itā€™s a local farmers market variety or personal grown. I have the fall gold, Ann yellow, and cascade gold varieties, and a royal purple. Still need a black raspberry so might hit you up for that hehe. Blackberries are newer to me, but I have several cultivars of them too, including a white ā€œpolar berryā€ blackberry. I hope to taste a little from each this year.
