Well I have a PO Box so Im at the post office every day, and driving there in a very small town is no big deal, dont have tons of traffic to fight.
Yeah , its the opposite for me. And the line is always long asf. It sucks
Oh I get that, Longest line i have saw personally at my post office was 5 people in front of me. I do it the way I do because I did have someone send me seeds in coin holders with no washer in an envlope and they were all crushed by the rollers, I was devestated but im not the type to throw a fit at someone for the damage the post office did. But I was almost in tears because it was 2 strains that I REALLY wanted, It was Green Crack Auto And Jack Herer Autos(dont remember off hand who the genetics company was but they were suppose to be legit Strains). So I decided then and there that if I ship seeds, I am gonna do everything in my power to make sure they did not get crushed.
Oh, yea that’s to be expected.
Just got these today, 200 for 8.99 on amazon. These are what im gonna use for any trades i do from now on.
I think they are too thick and require additional postage.
For a normal letter envlope yes. I use padded Mailers.
Sounds expensive.
I actually bought a bag too . But switched to tht sign board . I like the viles for seed holders .
That’s funny, I just got those for pollen. 2ml may have been a bit big for thst purpose.
These are what I use. Depends on what you consider Expensive. Its 5.25 to mail one with a tracking number. But here is how I look at it, Lets say I trade 3 strains at 6 seeds each, and I get back 3 strains at 6 seeds each, If I were to get on most ANY of the seed bank sites and buy 3 strains at 6 seeds I would be paying like 195.00+ and that is the prices just from a white lable company(Blimburn) if I was to go to a good genetics company and order the same amount it would prolly be triple that.
Or I can spend 5.25 on shipping a trade.
I wanted to make sure if someone wanted to trade 10+ seeds I could fit them in the tube lol, but your right they were bigger than i expected lol
Expensive confirmed. LOL
Beans are free and still very illegal to send almost anywhere, because they are plants. I would never register it, or even put a return address.
Glad it works for you, be careful.
It was my understanding, that since the 2018 farm bill cannabis seeds are considered Hemp and contain no THC therefor are perfectly legal to mail?
I don’t think it has anything to do with that at all I think it’s the flora fauna thing. No animals or plants Crossing Borders
I use padded mailers too, at about $5.50 per shipment. But I just recently got some pucks and am going to try that for an upcoming seed giveaway. Because when you’re shipping to 20 people those $5s add up.
Shit! I was about to ship these lizards.
Exactly what I was getting at. I can ship 4 pucks anywhere internationally for $2.70, $1.30 to the US and $.90 to Canada.
Each puck can hold 20 beans. Now that’s some math I can handle.
I don’t think that I have that strain.
PM incoming.
Meet me at Niagara Falls, I’ll chuck them to you.
