Nice buds there. Hope my PPP comes close to that.

It’s a very homogeneous big yielding strain so you’ll find something close in shape. After it’s the smoke which can be just normal or a little hazy.

Edit : you can see a supposed Angola Red in my image gallery thread. I love Africans. Grew Ghana, Durban, Angola and many crosses with African landraces mothers.

@Rastak thats very nice lookin budz man. PPP looks like a monster

S0 far on the seeds = No signs of life.

I ended up noticing that the shells are hard as a rock and haven’t split at all, despit the humidity in the bag and warmth…

I took a nail file and carefully sanded down the edges and peeled off an outer coating/skin and gave them a little squeeze till I felt the seems split open and placed them back in the bag.

The humidity should seep into the seeds and Kickstart some life.

Just about 4hrs ago I forcefully suggested to the seeds they must sprout or I was gonna feed them to the birds outside my windows.

Checking in after the seeds spent time pondering over an early demise, I see some white start of the tails poking out of the sanded shells.

I’ll come back likely later tonight and as long as we have progressive behavior, we will have something to talk about further in this Almost quick adventure.

We have tails showing.

Placed them in a cup of HP Pro Mycorrhizae & sprinkled some root hormones on the soil, sprayed it into the soil, placed beans on top, covered and made a humidity dome with the damp paper towel inside… Now its sitting on top my lights driver to keep the soil warm.

In the next few days we will see if these will grow

Checked on them, removed bag for a few mins for fresh air, sprayed the dirt with some water, replaced tops and back to stay warm again.

Your sprouting methods are persuasive, hoping the beans comply :crossed_fingers:

Well guys & Gals. I’ve checked on these seeds and it seems the tap root litterly hasn’t grown at all since its been in the cups. I’ve not given up yet, but its not really looking like this will take off.

I talked to a guy the other day that was talking about using nail clippers on the dimple end of the seeds to get hard to crack seeds to grow. He was also telling me about using 2 spoons and a paper towel to get them to crack. He said that he has gotten seeds that wouldn’t crack to grow using both of these methods. I can get some more info from him if you would like. :+1:t4: :v:t4:

Thanks @repins12 the seeds have sprouted tap root “tails” BUT have stopped growing overall…

I’ll give it a few more days & I’ll call it…

Maybe try drying out the medium a bit. Usually I think of that as a sign of too much water. Tap root loves to chase water, but stays put when it has all it needs.

@LeftHandSeeds Pretty much what I’m attempting haha. Took off the bag domes and made sure its getting some indirect air flow from the fan. Each seed has litterly a few morsels of dirt over them as to not dry out too quickly.

Soild suggestion Brother

Ive also noticed many many microbes in the dirt doing there own thing.

Almost went crossed trying to see them lol

Sorry guys & Gals. It seems these little seeds had just enough energy to forcefully pop but nothing left to get up and grow! Was actually excited about this… Well I’ll leave this thread here & in the future IF I’m able to aquire some more Transkei seeds, we will attempt this again… No love loss!
