Fuel's grow log

Sometimes to ask the yield of something is also nasty. But we all want to known it seriously lol

This the uniform way i deal with, it give me a few solid averages with the accumulation of stats on a given generation. Comparisons too. It’s a fast preview too on the resilience of the scents and tastes in optimal conditions ("cold flux"only), and when the grinder is too hungry also lol

  • behind the things : lets weight a clone and have fun with stats

The raw weight, the big one :

I just cut the trunk at the basis then put it like roses lol This is for me one of the most important because it mean also “total vegetal mass this round”.
There raw weight : 54gr/1.9oz

Then i wet trim, not so hardcore with the best covered trims, to take the second weight.
There trimmed weight : 40gr/1.4oz

From this point you can determine a “productive mass” with theyr natural supports, by example.
In the exemple it’s 25% loss. You can compare to this way the cost of all range of trimming grades too : finely trimmed, gross, balanced, leafs free … or in another way to weight the wanted trims for the skuff ^^

So, after a “flue-cured tabacco style” i weight it dry. But only after recovered all its homogeneous drying state in a “fast curing”. The whole process take max 48hrs.

The “net weight” : 12gr/0.5oz, + 5/0.17 allready smoked between the twos pics ^^, so exactly 17gr/0.59oz lol.
That’s in my head a range of 70% from the raw to the net. Also a 42% in the drying process, etc …

To cross theses stats between themselves in an harvest and made the link to physicall differences with specimens is enough to breed a good yielder from the blood used. Who known the price ? Your lifespan ? Tricks ? A quantitative approach ? … ^^

In a way i can show how it can be extrapoled in a yield ratio, in its “beta” version. That’s 17gr, when grown in a 32 plants / sqm unit. So 17 x 32 = net 544gr/sqm or … 6.3oz/ft² (?) , with net 0.5Kw CFL/sqm ^^ lol

You can add a time factor too. This clone was pushed and flushed fast to get ready in 7 weeks lol Usually more in the 8-9 range for this blood. So that’s also 49 days. Or also net 544gr/sqm in 49days = net 11gr/day per sqm productivity.

etc … have fun ^^

next update i show the dish lol
