MAZEL TOV!!!
Even the fan lights that I have they need to go they burn too much electricity.
New lights are here, on, timed, and bright as shit!
High hopes for them. They’re both at 75% in the pics because the little manual said 3-5 days for the plants to acclimate to it at 34 inches but I don’t have the headroom.
Also upon taking down my free Chinese one I noticed something concerning
No idea what is but I know it doesn’t belong there and probably isn’t good.
Oooh. FREE SURPRISE!
Are you fitting 2x VS2000’s in that one 2x4?
No according to the specs it’ll flower at 2x4 and veg even wider. The tent is 2x4 so one in each.
I was wondering that when you initially posted. I then looked at my 2x4 and when “how could I pack another SF2000 in there… and more importantly: should I?”
In all seriousness though then I though about a SF1000 with the SF2000 and then just watered the pots and ran away before I had more awesome but money spending ideas.
Definitely watch that not good
I think the pair would be way overkill in one tent for sure. Not bad if you have the money to throw at it but not necessary either. I almost went with two XS4000s instead and even then thought it’s a few hundred more I don’t need to spend compared to what the 2000s should give me.
And I have the same thing where I have awesome, but expensive thoughts
Oh yeah I almost forgot! @CADMAN here’s my thread as requested.
Don’t we have some body fluid experts on here?
Lights look good man… You wont regret the move to LED…
That would be @Foreigner
They are BRIGHT even at 75% so there’s that. If the flowering tent goes off with the timer at 7 like the CMH was supposed to it will instantly be worth every penny. It also means I don’t have to get up at 7am and plug it in! I’ll probably still get up just to make sure but not needing to would be phenomenal! I’ve had a wyze camera pointed in the vent of the veg tent for awhile now so I know that other LED has been working correctly with the timer. I just put another one in the flower tent for the same reason and also pointed it at my temp/humidity monitor.
With the CMH I would need to keep the door to that room open as well as the tent to keep the temps down. Close that door for an hour and it would hit 87 or so even with central air. I’ve had the door closed for a few hours now, and it’s cool enough the air hasn’t been going too much and it’s been at a steady 79. Now to address my humidity…
Why? You got some?
Good stuff @Slick1
Told ya you wouldn’t regret it. Halides make heat!!!
I’m sure he is happy. They look great. You will notice a lot of things different. It took me a minute to be convinced. I had it down to the square foot price per hour. You’ll notice big super change man.
If it is dry then it is most likely flux.
Cheers

I didn’t touch it but it appears dry. Should I be concerned? Discontinue use or just keep an eye on it?
Give it to me for further investigation and observation in use… I’ll make sure its OK…
No worries about flux. It’s mainly aesthetics.
Cheers
G
Yep, Flux was the first thing that came to my mind as well.
SHHH!!!
Don’t listen to him @Slick1 flux is dangerous, you really need to get that light into my containment area ASAP… I’ll test it for the next 90 days just to make sure the flux capacitor isn’t leaking
