I was really wishing the GF had a uh, toy ahem. It would have been hilarious to me to just casually include it for scale with the drinks and lighter  Alas, I keep her too satisfied so no such luck

I’ll try to get some shots probably tomorrow. I have a busy day today so I’m not sure I’ll get to it later. Plus I don’t care how steady you think your hand is- try taking a picture of trichs with a usb microscope and you’ll be corrected! I’ll go ahead and book you for that week in the shed. I will require a deposit.

Was I not supposed to? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Little update. Ghost Rose showed right under 50% humidity in the stems with the moisture meter. Quicker dry than I’d prefer but I figured I’d bag it. Sitting in a grove bag it’s showing 70% right now so the bag is open to hopefully bring it down. There might be a learning curve to the moisture meter since it’s my first time using it. Maybe I’ll let it go to 45% next time and see what the bagged product shows to see if there’s a pattern. I also have less than an ounce in a QP sized grove bag so not sure if that’s a factor.

Pennywise flipped a few days ago but other than a little stretch in one no effect yet.

Chocolate Thai is just in limbo

And a new addition to the family. I put this Trizzler in soil midday yesterday and this feisty bitch is wasting no time! This is the first time I’ve had one pop up with the seed still on it. I gave it a nudge and it didn’t come off so I’ll give it a day or so and try again.

Looking at that picture now I see I could have gotten a little closer  Just zoom in, now my grow is interactive.

take an eyedropper and put a drop of water on the helmet and wait a few mins. I find that added moisture helps to let the seed shell come off.

:astonished: Let the baby on its own helicopter dad!! She ain’t in need! LOL!

How do you like those airpots!? Would choose them over a canvas or felt pot? Thanks!

Thanks!

Ok I just put a drop of water on my helmet. How does this help the plant exactly?

I’ll give it shot though :beers:

But I’m a proud papa!

I never used the canvas or felt ones so I can’t compare the but the air pots have always done good for me. Just ordered a few more too!

Coco/perlite only or soil? Hello bigger cats, do drop in with your comments whether airpots are any better and or plainly similar to cloth/canvas/felt/fabric pots!? I know you’re a proud papa, just don’t dribble over your rose or else you won’t be able to burn it!! LOL!

I’ve only used soil with it. The pointed holes in the side are supposed to let the roots grow into them and then they sense the edge and redirect inward instead of spiraling around the edge like most pots.

I see, so it sounds like there’s less root trimming than, say, probably, fabric ones which might just “stop,” “cut” the root without much trouble… Thanks!

And probably demands more constant watering than a regular pot, for sure!
