I’m sure it will work for you. I don’t know what the hell I’m doing most of the time, but it still worked for me.
I often get one sister taller than the other. I’m talking about plants too.
I see a trade in the future
So I woke up this am, went to go pull out the gender benders for the STS spray and upon closer inspection it looks like some of the are starting to open up…
…so I didn’t spray! Will update if that was good or dumb later.
I was at 15 weeks on the CT on the 22nd. My one gallon air pots showed yesterday and I am ready to live that auto lyfe, She needs to fall over the finish line NOW.
November 18th she will finish, Or February 29. Depends on the planets aligning… Didnt you know that going into this?
The training I did or possibly some of the burn issues are the only variables I can think of that might have slowed her down. She feels like she’s ready to just die anyway the way she’s slumped over. I just need to see some ambers and I’ll start chopping without a second thought.
CLEARLY you missed the part about Jupiter being WAY out of alignment. That factors in too, even more than the training and her trip to the burn ward… Its pretty obvious now that she’s pissed that you had this months long love affair, and you burned her at the end. Any lady would be pissed really…
Hash… its whats for breakfast!
Hey @Slick1, this is because of pollen/seed related ones, right!? Would a 3 gallon pot suffice for growing them to flower!? What was the pot size with the Ghost Rose, please!? Thanks!
If you look at my auto tent (hell, both tents), its almost all 3g fabric pots. My first autos were in 5g, and there was lots of untouched dirt. There’s only 4 photos in the photo tent in 1g fabrics.
I gotta ask @Slick1 do you think the 1g air pots will be enough? I’ll be tuning in for sure… The tropicana poison auto here is small, might not be an issue in 1g, but I doubt the black creams would like a 1g… Or is it just seed plants as Abbbian asked?
One of the Pennywise (seedrun plants) is in a 2 gallon and one in a 3 (or 2.5?) but I’m running the bottoms up a little bit to both keep the soil about even between them and because I didn’t want them getting too big. Slightly regretting it now.
The CT is in a 5 gallon and it’s good if I want to grow something big but the 3 gallon air pot is my preferred size. I bought the one gallon ones for the auto runs I have planned cause speed and squeezing a few in a tent are more important to me than yield in this case.
The Lavender Frosting is flowering in 1 liter smart pot though! lol She’s not loving it but she’s doing it!
I have very little (if any) doubt that the one gallon air pots will be enough, for my purposes any way. You gotta keep in mind the way the air pots effect the roots means that they never get rootbound and don’t circle the pot. In that sense it’s sort of like having a bigger pot anyway.
I was thinking about this but for a pheno hunt i’m going to attempt this winter with some bagseed. Loving your application for autos. Considering the results I’m getting with some Meph. Autos in solo-speed-cups you’re gonna have fantastic results on your hands. I’m going to impliment an autowatering system with drip stakes in the soil, and 1gph drip emitters inline so I can set up a steady feeding routine.
I always thought that was also a benefit of fabric pots. And at least IME whenever cleaning a fabric pot, rootbound was never an issue… Curious how different air pots perform compared to fabric on a side x side basis…
The only issue I have is that I was supposed to get 6 of the pots but they only had 3 in stock. $6.50 a piece though! I think they messed up on pricing on the website. The autowatering is definitely enticing…
I could have told you at one point when I first made the switch but I forget now. One of those instances where I did a bunch of research and then upon reaching my conclusion brain dumped all of it It was between fabric and air pots though and I was convinced enough that the air pots were the better choice based on what I was reading/seeing.
That sucks bruv. But at least you got 3! My local shop carries them, and I feel blessed that they do as MOST other hydroshops in T.Dot don’t carry them! I think to many ignorant user = let’s avoid complaining idiots by NOT offering them anymore.
It’ll cost me $6cnd ($4.75 USD) + taxes for 1x Air-Pot AP3 (orange bottom). Gonna put on order 6 of these units to match my auto watering kit.
I’m going to have a 5gal bucket with lid outside the tent with a pump resting in the nutes. I’m not worries about heat as the pump with turn on for 1min 2-3 times a day for feedings once it’s all dialed in correctly. There will also be an air stone running 24/7 to keep the solution mixed and aerated. The drip stakes are to make sure the water is targeting the core of the root zone rather than drip on the surface.
@Nagel420 - I am LOVING these air pots. I have 2x 3gal running in my 2x4 and the plants are AMAZINGLY HAPPY. I can LST using the top holes and green garden wire; no stakes! Only hiccup was expected: needs more water that nursery pots or fabric pots.
My 10" nursery pots get 8oz water per day; my 3gal air pots get 11-22oz a day, and this varies depending on how much leaf is present. Once these kick into flower I think I’m going to start SOAKING them once a week and then supplementing once there is a little leaf wilt.
An old nursery owner I know has an interesting watering routine for his yard. Instead of daily, 30 minute waterings, water one area for 6-8 hours, once weekly, moving around the yard. The idea is just that, a deep soaking And I can tell you, it works, and it works well. It mimics a rain storm. But ya gotta let it dry between waterings obviously. His yard plantings are amazing…
I just pee out the window. Works good
It’s that nitrogen!
And various broken down pharmaceutical products.
Edit - I read that my sleep pill remains active 5% intact in the urine…so if you’re ever tired…
Yeah? Do you find the plants respond well to that amount of rohypnol and ex lax?
