Slick1's kick in the ass grow

Yeah different duster/beer chick. There’s a duster dude too.

And they come to you flat? And you assemble them!? What’s that knob or big blue thing on the side!? Was about to ask about that! So, long story short, a large air pot kicks ass! right!?

Yeah they come flat and you wrap them around the base. The blue things are plastic screws that go through the holes and hold it together. When you’re filling them with soil you have to pack it into the sides good which makes it really nice if you’re doing an auto and want some hotter soil on the bottom and sides. I use Ocean Forest and then leave about a solo cup size pocket that I fill with Happy Frog. It lets the seedling bulk up in the HF and dip it’s toes into the OF, by the time the roots are well into the OF the plant should be able to handle it.

Then when to dump soil after the chop you just open it up and dump. Flatten out the pots and stack them for storage. And now I think they should send me some free pots for advertising them!

You can also use em for stupid-awesome projects:

Should’ve been a Ford EcoSport. They deserve it.

I’m very interested to see how you make out with the Frankentub 5000!

Me too!

I was also thing of calling it the “Grow-A-Matic 6-5000”; because you can also sing it to an already catchy tune.

Or “The War Rig” as it’s still missing it’s sheet of Reflectix that’s going overtop of the blue lid, with holes cut only for the indicator, the res. access port and the main opening for the net pot… after I add a few skulls it’s 100% gonna look like something out of the Mad Max franchise.

Well I know skull stickers tend to add 10hp per square inch on cars so I can only imagine they add a few grams per as well.

Went in this morning and it really seems like the Chocolate Thai is on her last legs. Not only the slump but found some interesting leaves.

The slump

Purplish almost black…like chocolate?!

A lot of the bud has purpled too

And the Trizzler who needs the Choco Thai to hurry up so she can get more light!

Digging the foxtails

I’ve never had something foxtail so hard on me in my life!

My outside plants are fading fast. Probly this week for harvesting. Trichomes are getting almost there. Most buds are just now starting to get a few amber trikes.

Never saw foxtails in the past. Grew in the 90s and again in 2010, nothing ever foxtailed. One black cream did, so did the blackberry. Gotta be from the breeding. This year was the first I’ve heard of / seen them (just got back in). Cant even remember them being an issue 10 yrs ago, but that was bag seed then also…

edit: fwiw… they dont bother me, just more nugs really. Only issue is bag appeal for some, but its not like its a ton of leaf matter…

I think they’re neat. Your average consumer probably doesn’t.

My sour D foxtailing after some significant stress from botrytis followed by major defoliation in an attempt to save the rest of the plant. I should have harvested early! Hindsight=20/20

Foxtailing happens either due to genetics or stress mainly heat I find imho . I’ve read it can also be caused by over feeding ( very hi ppms )

I keep looking for ambers but no such luck yet.

First time I saw them was on a Tangerine Dream I grew and I was like WTF?

I hate them. Those spindly little pube hairs could have been part of a nice dense nug but instead they’re just going to be a huge pain in the ass to trim.

The only two plants I had it on were genetic. The CT went super overboard for some reason though.

Bro if it’s a satie dominant it could be 90 to 100 days on the CT

Depending on the breeder
