I like to keep it simple and just put Cannabis and MCT oil in a crockpot for a few hours, strain it, and call it a day.
I’m lazy when it comes to capping it too, but when I do get around to it I make sure to do at least 600+, so I don’t have to worry about it for a good 6 months always nice to have some bulk in the fridge too, so when you need it, it’s there.
Can’t beat caps in portability though, especially when you’re on the go or out hiking.
Thanks I’ll try that next time. Do you have a capsule filler thingy to make so many ? Lungs have been feeling crusty so I’ve not been smoking or vaping much, and edibles are not so convenient. Mental health is taking a hit.
I didn’t want to go there but… I’m sure me not buying $10 of fertilizer is really cutting into the bottom line. Take that Monsanto!
Most people are personally responsible for the destruction of the planet just by existing as we do. Unless you’re Amish or live in the forest eating squirrels & berries? Building a growing population on finite resources…
Sorry for the negativity, had to get it out of my head.
It’s the soap box preaching that pisses me off. If I bothered to respond, which I don’t, I’d say something like the giant bags of manure you use come on big trucks and you likely drive your SUV to pick them up and take them back to your giant air conditioned house with all new stuff in it. Also your nitrogen runoff into groundwater is worse than mine.
I actually consider myself kind of Amish. They don’t reject technology but only if it will be detrimental to their way of life. Maybe I’m just old. Don’t think I’d eat a squirrel unless it was absolutely necessary.
And yeah your very existence independent of your consumption habits create greenhouse gasses so if you’re serious about saving the planet I could suggest an ultimate solution for you.
But it’s a mistake to get involved in such things.
I have never tried making it with MCT oil, but I use coconut oil and have excellent results.
It turns out stronger then cannabutter. I think the coconut oil absorbs/extracts better then butter.
Sometimes I mix RSO into the infused coconut oil, and use it to rub on whatever hurts on the body.
Yeah coconut oil works great I think MCT is kinda sameish but more processed? When my back is tweaked I blend some oil with bubble bath and make the water as hot as I can stand, seems to help a lot. Good for dry skin in the winter too.
Not quite Amish here, I like tech obviously but prefer it cheap, simple-ish, reliable and not too addictive. Can’t stand Tiktok, never buy the latest smart thingies, build long lasting easily upgradeable PCs.
Dreading the day I have to replace my 2010 car, the tech in new cars drives me nuts why am I forced to use a shitty tablet that’s always beeping at me and takes a PhD to sync with my phone ? If I can find a VW diesel with a stick in good shape that woudl be cool, I like diesels and always wanted a TDI but good ones are getting harder to find.
Are you following me? This is exactly our family car and I don’t want to brag but it’s really sweet. Only downside is being a diesel the maintenance is more frequent. But we can drive to Montreal without having to fill up. It’s not a stick though.
Mrs Foreigner is a techie and I’m the opposite. My phone is 6 generations old and it suits me just fine. I just don’t see how such things will improve my life so I don’t use them. She gives me enough Facebook updates that I don’t need my own.
I’ve only ever used butter (except for the incident with olive oil we will never mention again) but I’ve got coconut oil in the cupboard I just haven’t gotten around to it.
Yes I have one for 0 size capsules and one for 00 size caps. Let me know if you want one of them bro, I’ll send it your way. They can do 24 caps at a time.
I also have a sealed bag of size 4 caps if you want them too, they’re good for smaller doses. I just don’t have a cap filler machine that size. You could find something small enough to hold 5 or 6 upright at a time for filling and just do small batches monthly.
Nice, any issues ? VW has a bit of a reputation so I’m kind of wary, but everyone I know with one loves it and has no major problems. I love the clean & simple designs. My first car was an old Golf with 300,000KM I got for $1000. All of the coolant leaked out driving it home the day I bought it We put a new rad in it and it ran fine for years until I sold it moving out of province. It drove nice and you could fit a lot of stuff in there.
It’s a nice smoke, super sticky and oily. I can’t taste flavors in weed but when I open the bag it stinks out the room. This one is middle of the road hybrid smoke for any time, while the other two are more day or night smokes. Would pull it a bit earlier next time, the day 67 crop seemed stronger than the 59 testers but lost a bit of the magic.
Your shoe is untied And I’m jealous of your car.
Wanted a TDI since I was 16 or so, never got one cause I kept getting sweet deals on friends of family cars. That ship has probably sailed now. I’m into diesels, went back to school for it but finished in the 2008 shit storm, couldn’t find work and took another path. Now I live vicariously through Youtube and relive the movie Office Space 9-5.
Worked with someone once upon a time who put a TDI engine in a small Toyota truck. That was a very interesting machine, would’ve sold like crazy if we had something like it in NA. He’d help me with my old car but wouldn’t take any money so I’d give him a bunch of weed. Very cool guy, gifted mechanic.
Pic of said car, paid $300 a bit leaky but all it needed was tires. Sweet machine!
Thanks, very generous. I’d take the 00 off your hands if you don’t mind, can send you back some goodies. Have a bag of 00 caps I’ve been filling one at a time.

Plants are looking pretty good, bit heavy on the N. Seems like the hype is real on Jack’s. They’re drinking and eating more now, the auto-water is set to run for 5 minutes when the soil hits 50%. It’s going once a day.
I’ve always wanted a VW diesel pickup from ‘82 but good luck to me on that.
Dieselgate turned out to be a blessing. They gave us a bunch of money which paid off the car and for a vacation and put Extra parts of the car under warranty.
Plants are looking good. I’m currently jealous of your automation. How far along are they now? 3 weeks?
Not really, one of the heated seats stopped working. Warranty covered that. Broke a front coil spring also covered. We really like our Jetta. Our other vehicle is a 5.0 L pick up. So with the cost of gas the Jetta is our go to ride.
Thanks for the report I think I was chopping grape pie around 56/60 day mark and orange goji 62/65 . So some place in the middle of those two should be close.
Glad to hear she’s stinky and sticky did they produce lots of frost? The grape pie on its own was white with frost.
I didn’t know those VW trucks exist, that’s neat. My guess, didn’t sell well because those old TD (no I) engines are very slow. I’m kind of liking the Golf Sportwagen. Space for a lot of crap, not too fucky interior and tablet, awd, turbo but not fast enough to get into trouble. Of course they stopped selling those too.
The Grape Pie x Orange Goji was definitely the frostiest of the bunch. Had some of that oil tonight it’s strong, kicked my ass a bit. Had the GG4 x C99 oil last night, its heavy and sleepy benzo-ish, which is interesting cause the flower is really speedy.
Week 5 from sprout, 2-3ish flower. Changed the 2 week old res, dropped calnit by ~20%. Instead of mixing in the res I’m now mixing a full strength dose for 5 gallons concentrated in a mason jar, then adding to res until ~800ppm with tap.
They get really droopy in the dark. Irrigation has been running a bit before lights out every day, when the soil is driest. Changed it so the pump runs at lights on, see if that makes a difference.
Do you like spaghetti? Here’s the Home Assistant “server”. Paid ~$60 on ebay has an old i5, 8gb ram, cheap SSD. Home Assistant OS is running as a virtual machine on Proxmox VE which has been really easy to use and reliable and free. Also controls a bunch of other stuff in the house.
Wife’s going out of town, decided that’s a good time to kick nicotine again might be a bit cunty. Was off for about 2 years until some Veev fuckers were giving away free vapes. How is that legal? Vaped for a bit lungs weren’t happy. Switched to mints, they’re basically candy super addictive. On the sprays lately, doesn’t taste great so it’s easier to taper down.
Not too bad so far. Kicked coffee (again) about a month ago. God I love coffee but it really messes with my sleep and anxiety. Thinking about dropping booze too, don’t drink often but when I do the hangovers are not worth it any more.
Appreciate your take on those strains was pretty sure the snow lotus frost would come through on it . Maybe the c99 was over done to your liking should be a bit on the racy side you’d think.?
Even with the late chop the c99 smokes racy, but the oil is sleepy, I think because it was done in the slow cooker? The pressure cooker oils aren’t like that.
Thinking the drooping isn’t water related. If I let them dry before lights out, they droop. If I give them water, they droop. Temperature or light maybe ?
