Alright thought I would give this a go, long time reader, first time writer.
Currently have a simple set up, consisting of two 2 x 4 grow space’s, one tent and another a home made tent from panda film and conduit.
Flowering 2 x jaws gentics alien cookies and 2 x bad dawg genetics long bottom fighter x cake fighter, under a 315 cmh in one tent. Currently using mega crop one part in coco, because well 2 kids morgage, shits expensive!! EC at 1.8 for every thing, just water by hand at the moment.
In my veg tent i have 2020 medocino sfg (f) and cannarado’s good night moon( f). I also have reg seedlings of,
sunshine dream genetics (indigo child x cake fighter) x ( motor breath x 88g hashplant)
Jaws chem d x uk cheese
-black market breeders , Candy conspiracy (runtz x epsteins island) and Disorderly conduct (GMO x epsteins island)
Bad dawg (Tennessee kush x Bye Ya)
Bit of a solo stoner as i’m the only one in my group that partakes (having undiagnosed adhd and ptsd may have been the reason for that, a symtom of adhd is over sharing… lmao!), so would welcome any advice.
Have been vaping on last year’s out door which is starting to run thin and been reql slack in regards to my indoor. Part of the reason for starting this is to get my act together!! Here’s a few pic’s.

I don’t judge the quality of my flower by the price of the nutes. I’ve been using MegaCrop 1 part for several years to great success. I used to have a shitbucket of bottled nutes but they are now gone.
I use the Sweet Candy with mine too and it definitely makes a noticeable difference. A bag will last a long time a couple tsp at a time.
Ok, so just gave things a bit a tidy in the veg tent. Going to manifold the the good nightmoon. The sfn’g isn’t looking to healthy at the moment, so going to wait till she picks up before thinking about doing the same. Seedlings will need to be up potted soon. Thinking of extending the diy veg tent and turning it into a larger flower tent, but we’ll see.
I use coco and I do not supplement cal mag.
I grow in AutoPots but, I usually get a coffee cup full of hot water and spoon in the recommended dosage from the bag. I then let it dissolve and then add to my reservoir along with the Sweet Candy. I assume it would be about the same thing with hand watering.
They say you’re supposed to supplement CaMg with coco but I’ve found that to be not true. Plants get addicted to CaMg…, gotta watch for that.
My plants and my tastes prefer MegaCrop over about most everything I’ve tried.
Yeah fair enough. Just noticed some signs on the sfng. Might up the ec a bit and see if that does anything.
So how do you use it in flower. I have some pk that i’m thinking of using. Like what ec is your mega crop at before adding the sweet candy to get to what ec?
When I flower I start at 1-1.2 ec and see how they’re taking it. Then over the next couple weeks I ramp up to 1.8-2.3, whatever the plants seem to like. I typically add 1 tsp per feeding of bud candy until week 4/5 and then I work it up to 3tsp max and ramp back down when I figure to be 75% through the grow.
That for that. Think im going to implement your strategy. Have up the ec for the plants vegging and it looks like the deficiencies have gone, so not going to bother with the cal-mag.
Update on the veg. Things have picked up a bit. Thing’s where too cold. It been unseasonably cold here, so i piped the exhaust from the flower in, and now sitting at 22-23 degrees.
Both the sfng and goodnight have been topped ready for mainlining.
The seedlings aren’t really seedlings and need to be uppotted. There health has improved.
Have upped the EC to 1 and all deficiencies are starting to go.
Not sure how i’m going to proceed. Thinking of just mainling the fem’s and put them in the flower tent when that is done and top the regs and flower them. Will pop more regs in the next few days. Any request??
Far from a gambler but had a day a the races and won some $ so have ordered a new carbon filter, some watering rings and a timer that does seconds. Going to do some type of high frequency ferigation with one of the tents.
Also got some fem NL2 and Supersilver haze off jonny pot seed in the mail. Should see them next year some time, as they have to come a long way.
Believe me it’s a first. Glad i never won early and got a taste for gambling, though we all have a vice, have a guess what mine is! My mate’s a shocker with it, but he came through for me this time, with a nice tip!! I grow about 10 meter from neighbours front door so a new carbon filter is always welcome. I am so nose blind i try and change them yearly. Believe me they know, but keeping the neighbours happy is a top priority.
Just having a vape and a milkshake. Flower tent at week 4. 2 different phenos of the aliens cookies one with thin sativa leaf structure and not developing as quickly as the other. LBF x CF look fairly uniform. Not expecting much from this round but time will tell.
Ok bit of an update. Week 5 of flower and thing are starting to come along. One of the alien cookies id starting to look good and the lbg x cf are both starting to frost up.
Tenesse kush x bye ya was stunted, so got rid of it.
Looking at the cost benefit of building out a grow space v a tent. Need more space.
And have gone mad with the johnny potseed sale. Have about 20 packs on the way. Got my pack of nl2 and ssh. Hope customs does me right and lets the rest through
